Age of Soul

The Five theorized soul ages are as follows: Baby, Infant, young, mature, old. We can determine the age of our souls by the characteristics and personality traits we possess. As our souls continue on the path of reincarnation we learn and grow in our subconscious minds which after each life and death experience figure out the next step in the incarnation process. Creating a melting pot of several soul travelers that all interact with each other and teach each other complimentary life experiences.

Baby souls are too young to create a complicated and elaborate life because they do not know what luxury is. So they choose suffering as their main focus of learning experience. While all souls regardless of age have to undergo some form of suffering these youngest of souls make it their main priority. Which if looked at from the proper perspective is a great form of sacrificing that is manifested in our society as third world country inhabitants. The purpose of these souls deliberately or ignorantly choosing suffering over lavishness or wisdom or justice is necessary for our concepts of empathy. They are here to remind us of how lucky we are to have what we have and to motivate us to make things right in the world around us.

Infant souls have tried to overcome suffering by creating a more comfortable environment for themselves. In choosing materiality to mask the reality of suffering these souls are ignorant. Usually clinging to dogma and never being able to see beyond the little world they create for themselves. These souls are still searching for meaning and themselves, wandering through a life of simplicity that makes their idea of reality complicated and egotistical. These individuals are at the center of their universe and find it extremely difficult to relate to another soul unless they are of the same age. Samsara is the prison for these ignorant people, and they will have to further enlighten themselves to break from the cycle of suffering. Religious radicals are the forerunners for this age of souls, the world is filled with infantile god forms just wanting to grow out of their pull ups.

Young souls are the pinnacle of materialism and luxury. These are all the wealthy individuals that create empires from sand only to leave behind a legacy of castles eventually washed away by the tides of time. The Bush family is a clan of young souls, as is Bill Gates, Steve Jobs and all those bankers that we all don't know or love. Young souls find their ego at the forefront of their existence, some may give to charity but the amount of wealth they accumulate over decades if equally distributed could mean a much better life for the many baby souls that starve every second of the day. These souls find no desire in spirituality for the most part, they are far too immersed in maya to delude to such fantastical ideas.

Mature souls are motivated to change the world. Mature souls are the radical environmentalists and political activists. Mature souls find their purpose the greatest because they are always finding something new to stand up for or defend. Fighting for the rights of man and beast alike, mature souls are warriors and guardians for those who can't or won't speak. They are somewhat spiritual but have no set organization or belief system to follow. Mature souls are the builders for their fellow man, they want to create an ideal world the way they see it. This can be their greatest attribute and their greatest folly, for they too have an ego driven ambition that may manifest in terrorism among other radical means to justify their ends. The final obstacle for a mature soul is the illusion of control which they do not know how to see past. They are constantly in a power struggle with themselves and the powers that be, they are their own worst enemy and usually end in some form of unintentional self destruction because of bias choice.

Old souls, these are the wise men and women who walk the earth that they already know. They are aquainted with the illusion so well that they realize what is real and what is fake. They have risen above ego for the most part, only fragments are left to dissolve in the suffering of physical existence. These beings are aware of samsara and want to escape the cycle of reincarnation through attaining nirvana. These wise and knowledgable folks are indifferent to the worries and idealogies of the souls that are beneath their age. Able to relate to all ages and cultures these souls are the teachers that roam the orb only to help push along the young ones lost in a cloud of ego. Though old souls have risen above materiality they are cursed with living in a world that is physical, their karmic duty to suffer to teach and to learn their own short comings and see them first hand. The final obstacle of an old soul is the shadow, once they overcome that they can transcend this land and dwell amongst the etherial beings in planes around our own. Once again these souls are their own enemies, being so intelligent and wise they can literally achieve whatever ambition they put their mind to but lack motivation. Going with the flow is all well and good until one plummets down a waterfall.

I have another category to theorize, the existence of ancient souls. Because we are at the beginning/end of time I have a feeling that scattered across the globe are several ancient spirits, deities, bodhisatvas etc. These beings that have already achieved release from samsara but chose to manifest here during this transition to help aid in the shift in consciousness. These aleady apotheosized spirits have knowledge, wisdom and spiritual powers far beyond the capabilities of old souls. Here by choice to change the world like thieves in the night, ancient souls were predestined to be here by the schools in the sky, the mystery schools of humanities ancient past.

All souls from baby to ancient are necessary for each others existence and also needed for proper spiritual developement. They are all endowed with information and experience that an adjacent soul could never fully understand or appreciate. Personally the baby souls should be the most admired because they choose a life of simplicity and suffering in order for other souls to develop further in the path of illusion. The story of humanity is ancient, and soon we will see that whether we think what we are acheiving is new or old in the end it is all the same. The only truth, the only fact... that ambiguity rules over all and there exists no difference between nothing and everything.
