I decided to write what could be my last blog on this planet today, only hours away from the earthly scheduled JC reunion. The raptures almost here is it? Well I think we might be jumping the gun a little early. While I still hold onto the possibility of the source returning to the lives of many who know it well, I truly believe any human prediction will be a lucky guess at best. We could not possibly comprehend the plans colliding with each other, as the light and the dark confront justice on the battlefield of life. The paper has stretched into the atmosphere, unfortunately hiding from the painful truth is no longer an option.

On Monday I was attempting to persuade the class that an alternative art based social currency was a good way of combating inflation. Through my research I have discovered nothing short of thriving local communities that adopt alternative currencies. My topic was controversial, it stirred up some and inspired others. Some thought it was a great idea, others never gave it the chance, skeptically denouncing its odds of success. I found it ironic a few days later while watching a clip of the Daily Show that the U.S.A. reached its debt limit on the same day as my speech. I handed out twenty something large pieces of currency to my classmates, some folded it up, others doodled, one guy asked me if I hand drew it. I explained originally yes, later touching it up in the computer to print a batch. It was the largest piece of currency I will ever intend to disperse [14"6"]. I wanted to inflate the size of the design before I produce smaller more varied forms and inflate the series. I used laser ink so water only effects the signature. I do not care if I get recognition for initiating a social art currency system, I just want it to happen. Action is freedom.

The apocalypse can be viewed as terrible or wonderful. A revealing of truth, when reason returns, when order is made from chaos, when the word returns. We the people all see our own version of the same reality. When that reality looks back into our eyes, and we see the reflection of our self stretching outward in every direction, then the euphoria will occur. When all at once the truth surges through our souls, and exposes all the scars to be thrown into the fire of our hearts. That is what the rapture actually means, a great ecstasy that liberates the minds of those trapped in the shackles of physical existence. Some have already reached this state perpetually, they have already experienced the rapture, because what is death to them? Simply a ripple through which we become another reflection in the universal identity of Life. For those lost in the labyrinth this revelation may be a cause of great suffering and self inflicted punishment when they realize what they have done to themselves. Though, we are all wandering, some get lost, others find a way through.

The debt ceiling means nothing just like the slips of meaningless paper that are now touching. We know better than to allow the power to be stripped from us, we are free to express as we please, now that the paper is about to pop we should start inflating a different balloon. A self sustaining one, paper by the people, for the people. The apocalypse will need more than dead presidents to transmute the wonderful earth we all wish for into a true product of alchemical perfection. As one cycle ends so another gear turns in the forever expanding machine work of eternity. May Life smile down upon you with the intensity of a thousand suns.

Namaste,

Yours with Love and Light,
A.D. IV

)mad magicks( Emerging Visions visionary art 'zine #20 will be emerging late this weekend (after the Rapture) http://emergingvisions.blogspot.com

Jesus died for somebody's sins, but not mine
Jesus cried, and somebody grinned -- don't whine
Jesus smiled his love on the least,
scattered his manna that the lowly might feast
All you remember is that slavering Beast
so remind me why you find less than fine
daring to share a peace of mind
about kindness more
than Divine

Have you read Yeats' "Second Coming"?

After the hard, hard rain

Call me. We should get together.

Disappointed?

Are you disappointed that things are as they were before you wrote this post? Life goes on...I guess

Not at all

Change is arriving faster than we expected, and with a sudden jolt could send many into shock. It's bittersweet, a part of me wishes that this sudden event occur stat, while at the other end I must say life will by no means be easy after that. People need a reason to come together again. Whether it be jokingly over the rapture or how nasty the weather is getting. I personally had a very introspective and healing day and night. Today I witnessed good triumph over evil, people gathering to silence the waning voice of evil. The rapture is in the unconsciousness, waiting to fill the cavernous infinity that is our mind. Not all at once, spreading instead like a fire. The winds of change carrying the flame across the entire globe.

"in order for there to be order... there must first be disorder"

Did anything happen?

It seems to me the only sure way to assess if there really is a change in the unconscious is to isolate yourself as much as possible from society and the media for a while , and see if you feel like things are changing on the inside
Living in another country with little access to TV and regular media and social manipulation it feels like it is just another day but with increasing complexity , like there wont be a bifurcation point , just ever increasing in complexity

I see what you mean.

For those of you who think I was serious about the whole rapture thing I was not. I agree that complexity is building upon itself, but eventually complexity will reach its apex point, the capstone of the pyramid if you will. That is when the next phase begins, once the "temple of Solomon" or the "Christ consciousness" has been rebuilt then simplicity slowly consumes complexity until they are in perpetual balance. I think that a lot happened on that day, and that we are underestimating the leaps and bounds our species is taking towards a greater good. While the defiling depraved minority of old power looms with a final act of desperation in waiting, will this push for one world order be what sets us free? We will have to see, it seems that it must be, that through the bad surrounding the good, containing it in a cylinder, the good will soon overflow and consume the beaker of badness that once held it in place. I had been depriving myself of media for some days, I am undergoing big personal changes, the likes of which I would have never expected, this is a constant in life, and so I smile with the passing tides.
