A Night with Wiccans

I attended a Chakra cleansing class at a local Witch shop Friday night. I was one of two males attending, the rest women. Three Wicca practitioners organized the meeting and we sat in a large circle in a comfortable room. They handed out papers on the 7 major chakras and the corresponding properties.

The ceremony started with a quick blast of sage smoke and some sweet grass to clear our stressed consciousness. They handed out pendulums to everyone to keep track of our chakra energy. Mine was Tibetan Black quartz, we started by holding the pendulums level with our chakras to see how our energy was flowing. My root spun wobbled and counterclockwise, this left me slightly distraught understanding that my foundation has been very shaky of late. all the following chakras were weak and clockwise which made sense. They explained how to cleanse other peoples chakras by neutralizing the energy with the left hand moving counter clockwise followed by the right hand moving clockwise. Oh, and did I mention that I consumed 7 grams of Amanita Muscaria and a few puffs of cannabis before I went, intending to level my consciousness into a more receptive equilibrium. I felt very clear and open when I began smelling the various oils they offered to our olfactory senses. Seven oils (sorry don't recall the names) that all had very distinct and potent properties. Each representing the seven chakras, I could feel my meta-conscious jester smiling within my unconsciousness. After out chakras were cleared by the oils we assessed our energy with the pendulums again.

all were moving clockwise, my lower chakras from the solar plexus down were slightly wobbly, but the rest were subtle and steady. My heart chakra was very potent, and I could feel a mixture of mushroom and love energy flowing into my chest. We then were paired up and given large cleansing crystals to "comb" a partners field with to absorb negative energies. I did this with my recent love connection, the beautiful young lady that attended this witch craft class with me. We moved the crystals across each others fields and I could feel the potent energy of my negativity escaping my being with each pass of the living stone. after our fields were cleared we were given a stone for each chakra and told to meditate with each, bringing it from our root to our crown.

I began with smokey quartz for the root, when I closed my eyes and held it at my root I saw flowing waves of red washing across my eyelids. As I moved up the colors of the stone would mesh and mix with the chakra it was intersecting. This synthestetic morphing of psychedelic colors was a fantastical show of soma and chakra energy. After I went through the stones and my visual shower was finished I felt powerful and enlightened. I looked up to my left and hanging from the ceiling was a glass orb on a string. I focused on it remembering my personal training with a psi-wheel and how I developed a telepathic ability some months ago. As I continued to stare at the ball it slowly began to move clockwise, I asked one of the witches "what are these glass orbs for?" She replied "mostly for decoration and comfort" I replied "do they usually spin like that?" She said "no, actually" I asked "why is it spinning?" she smiled and said "you carry a lot of energy with you" I chuckled.

Our final chakra diagnostic and all wheels were turning clockwise and very strong, especially my crown which was open to my jester deity more than it had been in months. I stood up and was grinning widely, when I tried to relax my tired cheeks some energy would tickle my jaw and force me to smile more. I felt very light on my feet, much better than I did when I entered the shop. I thanked the witches and told them I would be back.

My reflection of this is very complicated so I will try to paraphrase. When I first sat down and the ceremony began with the sage smoke I kept hearing the chant echoing off my skull "I AM WHO I AM" repeating. (I think that speaks for itself) Then while I was sitting there I made some connections. I have been seeing lots of spirals lately, hell I've been drawing them myself. I made a personal conclusion that this is evidence of the unconscious mind referring to the chakras through physical representation in art. I then followed the rabbit down the hole to conclude that possibly the reason behind all of the recent cosmic radiation bombarding our solar system could very well be the massive amount of individuals "linking up" with the source and magnetically attracting these particles from our higher selves. These are just personal theories. The final realization I had was the newly manifesting majority of maternal spiritual leadership. I was in a room where the only other male was a homosexual, this majority of femininity made me realize that the paradigm shift might include a much needed restructuring of the current paternal male owned world into a more maternal and motherly realm. Spiritual awakening is upon us, we are all experiencing the most unforgettable time in human history, bask in the glory of our massive illumination.
