A (somewhat) Massive Undertaking...

I'm not sure how many of you would be familiar with Kyle "The Red Paper Clip Guy": http://oneredpaperclip.blogspot.com/
It's quite an interesting concept really.
I recently decided to try and undertake a similar barter chain, with the end result being a VW Camper Van/Bus from the 60's-70's. The vehicle would then be converted to run on bio-Diesel.
After that, I wanna use the van as the basis for a "traveling Vegan food vendor" endeavor I have been thinking about starting for the past few years.
The idea being mostly to follow certain music festivals, bands, markets, rallies/marches; any sort of gathering where there would be people interested in Vegan food options. Evolver spores anyone?? :)
I had the idea that I would then visit all the people I had bartered with to share a meal with them, or something cool like that.
Any monetary profits made from said "business" would be donated once I get it going, most likely to the The WaterWheel Foundation amongst others. I figure I will also include the causes of people who helped me along the way. Gotta spread the love around after all.
I'm NOT looking to gain any fame or money from this, as I have no use for either of those things. I want the experience. The interaction. The feeling. The stories. The love.
I just want to realize a vision, meet a whole slew of people, and see this country through the windshield of a traveling love-kitchen.
The Red Paper Clip story and attitude have had a big influence on me.
I'm not too savvy in this realm, so I'm just a little overwhelmed as it pertains to how I should begin...
I immediately thought there would be like minded friends on here that might have some knowledge/experience to impart upon me.
Any help my fellow Evolvers could send my way would be great!!
Namaste and Thanks!!
