"Banish the word 'struggle' from your attitude and your vocabulary. All that we do now must be done in a sacred manner and in celebration. We are the ones we have been waiting for." — Hopi elders

About Me

Bio

After receiving a B.S. in Biological Anthropology I took some time off to live a little and gain some experience working for the Environment. I was an AmeriCorps crew leader for a non-profit conservation organization. I actually got paid to live in my tent and work outside saving endangered species, eradicating invasive ones, teaching conservation methods to young adults and making sweet hiking trails near San Diego and Lake Tahoe. Currently, I just began working towards a masters in school & professional counseling while I'm stuck trying to get a meaningful job Starbucks... Note the sarcasm. My main interests are philosophical in nature but are humanitarian & environmentally driven when it comes to the world of action. This includes the past & current human condition & our progress as a social species to environmental conservation, outdoor education & sustainability, Eastern wisdom traditions such as Buddhism, Shamanism and Transpersonal Psychology.
