Since the publication of my article "The Book in the Sky" on Reality Sandwich, I have come across many more cases of the dream imagery that Jennifer Palmer and I both experienced.

"An installation that took Xu Bing over four years to complete, A Book from The Sky is comprised of printed volumes and scrolls containing four thousand ''false'' Chinese characters invented by the artist and then painstakingly hand-cut onto wooden printing blocks."

In 2006 an art installation by Ilan Sandler called "The Book" was built in Toronto, where I live.

From the artist's statement:

"THE BOOK is a steel sculpture with two pages torn away from its spine. The spine is perpendicular to the ground, the covers are open, and the pages appear to blow in the wind. From the highway viewers see a book that looks as if it were lifted by the wind and oriented towards a sheet that has already escaped its binding."

"As light passes through the outlines of the characters in the book their projections continue to change and the letters and symbols shift into forms that are less familiar. The future imprints of text on a page are dependent on their ancestral roots as well as the symbolic languages, codes, and alphabets that are evolving out of our contemporary society. The steel book is a monument poised between eras in the evolution of thought."

Evolver user Ramona posted the following dream in response to a description of my dream:

"The dream I had last night may sound hoaxed in light of everything said above but really did dream this....There are conveyor bellts of moving Aztec-like symbols with scarabs and some sort of bird opening into layers upon layers - everything is bursting and opening into pure light. Quite brilliant and lovely. I woke up drenched in sweat. Having dreams/visions like this a few times a month and have been getting more vivid/clear/intense lately. Of course I am not the only one.... at a minimum, seeing this as an exciting collective psycological awakening/quantum leap but hesitate to put too many words on it."

Celeste shared the following dream:

"Woke up dreaming about the Indian who walks with me through my dreams.. Strange, first I was looking at the path of his life and the path of my life at the same time.. He like I walk with 2 legs, one in the Indian world, and one in the Lightworker world, so I am looking at his journeys and my journeys at the same time, which have the appearance of a line crossing between the 2 legs.. at same time I can see where our journey of 2 legs come together and merge. I am looking into his life and observing experiences we have shared... and when I pull my head back from my observation, I realize I am staring at a double AA (but one is on top of the other)"

In February I received an email from Reality Sandwich reader Zachary:

"I just realized there was a symbol on my shirt I bought In mid December before Xmas, weeks before I even saw the A article and had not read any of the other sync articles or dream journal with the A in the sky yet.

"Anyway I am blacking out the volcom logo, and realize theres a big letter A flaoting around on my T shirt! The creepy triangle EYE is floating around like God in the clouds, above the floating A (with a small arrow pointing to its side) and this reocuring symbol or should I say symbols of incomprehensible word gibberish cuneiform floating around, next to the big A in the sky!"

While biking through the University of Toronto campus I saw a building with strange symbols on the outside. One was an A within a circle with an arrow emerging from the top.

This is the Lash Miller chemistry building, built in 2005. The symbols are alchemical. A few things that highlight the A against the other symbols. A bird's nest has been built behind the apex of the A. Stains from the nest make it look as if the A is shooting upwards in the direction of the arrow. There is a shape resembling a J to the upper right. Two stickers have been placed on the lower part of the circle.

The stickers have the headline "UPRISING" and show the anarchist symbol of a circled A with the slogan "Abolish capitalism, smash the state". The original meaning of anarchy is "without ruler".

Recently I walked into my usual bookstore and spotted "The Secret Symbols of the Dollar Bill" by David Ovason. I pulled it off the shelf and opened it to a page in the middle.

The section began with "The letter A is among the most magical of all letters."

"What is of interest to us is the letter A toward the centers of the design. The letter is inscribed within a letter O, which is the Roman equivalent of the Greek omega. Thus, in this encircled A the beginning and end meet."

In an Evolver discussion I noted some parallels between the past season’s crop circles and my Reality Sandwich article. Two days later a formation appeared of a wheel or gear divided into twelve parts. The inner part was a repeating pattern of triangular symbols, one of which was an A shape. The upper section of the A contains an upside down T.

The Roman T is derived from the Taw, which is the last letter of the Hebrew alphabet, with the same symbolic value as the Greek Omega. The saying "from Aleph to Taw" means "from beginning to end".
