Spiraling out of the Unconscious

I feel that last night's Norway spiral is part of an eruption from our collective unconscious, in the same way that I feel UFOs and crop formations are. Carl Jung suggested that a spiraling motion represented a movement between the conscious and unconscious.

P.M.H. Atwater wrote in her book Coming Back to Life about a near death experience in which she saw two immense cyclones, one rotating clockwise, the other counter-clockwise. Where they connected was an explosion of light and energy. She could see herself and all other people in the upper cyclone and also repeated in the lower cyclone.

In Whitley Streiber's Communion he is instructed by the visitors to build a device made of counter-rotating magnets. He builds it, and the energy shorts out the electricity in his house and almost burns it down.

I recently had a dream about a massive cloud in the sky that contained two spirals side by side, like an egg with two yokes. One rotated clockwise, the other counter-clockwise.

This summer there was an interesting synchronicity involving this community. Pathfinder posted a dream in the Dream Team group about hummingbirds of light flying back and forth between a giant cloud of light and the ground. I noted that there had been a lot of formations of birds that season. Pathfinder said, maybe there will be a hummingbird crop formation, and two weeks later there was.

From his dream:

"We look up and see that they are staring at an immense cloud lit up by beautiful lights inside. Looking at the cloud inspires a sense of awe and wonder (not fear). It's like looking at God or something.

We then see little darts of light going in and out of the cloud. At first they look like fireflies or shooting start, but then I realize they are hummingbirds made of light. The hummingbirds go to the cloud and then down to the earth and people, but do not go into people."

A few weeks after my spiral cloud dream, Moontrap posted a dream under the title Twisting and Rotating:

"I false awoke, in shock, to find myself being dragged off the couch in my covers and summarily swung around the room in them, with full centripedal effect and commensurate breaking of bottles and innocent furniture.

"...what stood out for me and what I want to share, was the sense of extreme physical movement and inertia, particularly that of the dragging and rotation and its rapidity. This sensation has been increasing in my dreams lately; for example I had one dream where my energetic dream self spun itself into a votex and wooshed (for want of a better word) upward into what felt like a transcendence."

In response I described my cloud dream and noted:

"I recently started reading a collection of Jung's work called Mandala Symbolism which of course I found in a used book store. Just two days ago I read a part where he suggests that a counter-clockwise movement "indicates movement toward the unconscious, while a clockwise movement goes towards consciousness. The one is 'sinister', the other 'right', 'rightful', 'correct'.

The cloud seems to be symbolic of the endless feedback between conscious and unconscious. This is also seen in Pathfinder's dream where the hummingbirds of light fly back and forth between the cloud and earth."

Last night in Norway,

"The mystery began when a blue light seemed to soar up from behind a mountain in the north of the country. It stopped mid-air, then began to move in circles. Within seconds a giant spiral had covered the entire sky. Then a green-blue beam of light shot out from its centre - lasting for ten to 12 minutes before disappearing completely."

"Onlookers describing it as 'like a big fireball that went around, with a great light around it' and 'a shooting star that spun around and around'."

The blue beam is a spiral emanating from the center of the main white spiral. I am finding this kind of aqua blue light everywhere, in movies such as Tinkerbell and Transformers as some kind of primal light of creation, and in UFO abduction stories where someone is carried into the craft by a blue light, with the feeling that the light alters their frequency somehow. My post The Book in the Sky showed some examples of this light.

I feel that this Norway event contains symbols that are also seen our dreams and visions, and is part of the escalating emergence of the unconscious into our conscious world.
