I might get some flack for posting this "opinion" on here, seeing how many of my evolver friends are into the "zietgiest philosophy". It seems I might have some resonance with a few of their principles as well, but there are a few points within the movement that need to be examined.

The Toltec Wisdom brought forth by Don Miguel Ruiz in The Four Agreements: A Toltec Wisdom Book is refreshing and enlightening. Ruiz reveals spiritual knowledge which has for too long been unconscious to the human experience. The Toltec teach that words are not just a means to communicate information, but intentions that can be used as spells to create events and manifest dreams.

What do you believe? What if collective beliefs hindered the power of our most well meant intentions and our dreams? This is my main beef with religions, cults,universities, societies, and organizations. The idea that in order to join you must share their beliefs and therefore allow someone else to dictate where your attention, intention, and action are projected.

In a rare interview with the infamous Swiss Psychiatrist Carl Jung, "We need more understanding of human nature because the only real danger that exists is man himself. He is the great danger, and we are pitifully unaware of it. We know nothing of man. His psyche should be studied because WE are the origin of all coming evil."

I sat in meditation in the Denver City Park for 3-4 hours today next to a main road. I began to think about people's ego's as they walked or drove past. Some people waved or smiled and other people were just confused as I sat in meditation. Human nature is very interesting, the phrase "monkey see, monkey do" comes to mind when watching the cars go by in little box's.

I honestly am skeptical of alot of this new age movement as many are, but I have a real affinity and resonance with James Red field. He also wrote an article on 2012 that I thought this site would love to read. Comments Please!!! haha
