It's interesting you did this posting on Celestine Prophecy when, just last night I mentioned the film in a reaction to what people were saying about the Avatar movie (which I haven't seen). People were saying that the movie denigrated us humans and that maybe this movie and others are more about trying to make money and monger fear to continue trying to control the masses.
I said that just the fact that such m/ovies were making their way to production and mass screenings was a sign of collective levels of consciousness rising! Several years ago The Abyss was released... I don't know how the ratings were, but I bet they weren't great.
I think we are living in an exciting time, and for my children's sake, I hope for great things to happen.

i do agree that we are the ones that should embody the hero archetype instead of projecting it onto the potentials of saviors or aliens or anything other than ourselves being the ones to save the day. for as long as their has been recorded history there has been the idea that humanity as a whole needs an outside source to save us and it is such an out of date thought process that no longer serves us. it's beautiful to see people letting go of that mindset and looking to themselves and only themselves for true "salvation."
