Conflict of Outlooks

It happened again last night. I woke up in the early morning from an entirely irrelevant bad dream, and then my mind drifted to the Problems, which I attempt to describe below. These problems constitute a kind of doubt - a kind of threat to hopes and ideals. I'll be thorough and methodical:

Problem A.
Point 1. The world is wrong.

About Me

Bio

All I'd like to mention is my world view. In brief, it does not take much to observe empirically the enormous and unnecessary suffering that goes on in the world, such as war, poverty, environmental destruction, overconsumption etc. Regardless of their causes (though there is a lot to say about them, of course), I think it should be obvious that the problems are so severe that only a complete replacement of society - that is, a fundamental re-appraisal of all of economics, politics, education and so on - will do any good at all in the long-term. I think this new society would be made up of local and largely self-sufficient communities. In the short-term, the first steps of the transition should include the introduction of a demurrage currency and the promotion and building of intentional communities.
