Real Transformation

What I'm really looking for, is a real, material, society of dream.

What I see around me is endless compromise, to the point of zeroing.

"Sharing dreams" turns into "Sharing projects."

"Sharing projects" turns into "Sharing hobbies."

"Sharing hobbies" turns into "Sharing interests."

"Sharing interests" becomes a debate about when and where to meet, to talk.

At the meeting, the people find, "Oh, wait, I was really into this particular sub-aspect of the aspect, and we don't really share interests."

History endlessly washes up the new on the shores of the real. The young people come in, and say, "This is our movement! It's really happening!"

They say this because they do not know history. They can't tell the difference between a gem and a bit of seaweed.

A bunch of hobos say, "Well, in the end, it's just about being friends with a few people." Life on periphery. "There's nothing here to learn; We're just here to wait for death. But we'll do it together, with our friends."

Bit I know that there is a mysterious city inland a ways.

"Banish the word 'struggle' from your attitude and your vocabulary. All that we do now must be done in a sacred manner and in celebration. We are the ones we have been waiting for." — Hopi elders
