Noisy neighbours

I wrote this in response to some Haiku I heard during a class ...we were invited to wander a while outdoors and reflect...I strolled into the church yard in the adjacent church. There were builders building on one side but between the power tools it was quiet. Late Autumn, low cloud, late afternoon and leaves on the grass...

Off the top of my head

I have never felt the future held a pension for me, and I have made no attempt to invest in one. It is obvious there is no such thing as a secure future, the best is suffering free relationships all round. Which to me is social capital, a little place on the commons I look after for a while with space for visitors and a bit left over.
