Icerocketthis contains some spoilers, blah blah. in case you were wondering about the title it refers to the psychic ability to stare at a living thing and stop its heart. but this would be the dark side of the powers.
so i went to see the above movie yesterday with my dad. of course i dont really like movies the way i used to, when you constantly see through the bullshit movies arent as fun. and when its decided we will go, my mom says 'but you dont like movies', tho she is just jealous that she doesnt get to go with us. and i tell her of course how important it is to know thy enemy, hah.
anyway so we got some breakfast and headed over to the mall, another thing which is not the same anymore, the mall is hell, dammit how can people see it any other way?? all i knew about the movie was that george clooney and ewan mcgregor (obi-wan kenobi from the new star wars, among other things) were in it, and that it was about some sort of top secret gov't kinda things. so i knew off the bat that this movie would present itself as 'just a movie' but would present a lot of stuff that an aware person would see differently from a typical movie-goer, who believes magic only exists in movies.
the movie opened up with 'more of this is true than you would believe', arent they getting good with these little 'based on a true story' phrases?
so ewan is the person we are supposed to identify with, you know, just a normal everyday joe, you know arent we all just drones doin our thing? of course we are, or so this movie frustratingly kept positing, as if all viewers would have no problem identifying with him. personally i can tell you he was pretty dumb, so i guess the people making movies assume we are pretty dumb too.
ewan is a journalist and interviews a guy (idk his name he played jimmy james in news radio and he was the blind radio station owner in 'O brother where art thou'. huh why is he associated with radio? well he wasnt in this movie) who claims to have been part of a secret program which began in the 80's to train 'psychic spies'. he describes some things they were trained to do, and mentions how he has been 'remote viewing' the loch ness monster and realized it was actually the ghost of a dinosaur. meanwhile ewan is like 'yeahh, yeahh' and the camera shows his pad which has a little doodle 'you are crazy'. i knew this guy wasnt crazy but i also knew most everyone else in the movie theater was probably identifying with ewan and thought he was crazy. especially frustrating after the 'more of this is true' intro.
so the movie is a string of synchronistic events just as our lives are, and ewan ends up in kuwait, trying to get into iraq to cover the fighting. the movie by the way takes place in 2003 or something.
as he is sitting in a little cafe he notices a baseball cap for a waste removal or some such company on a table next to him, and clooney is sitting there, and of course he doesnt work for that company, it was his cover. just coincidence that ewan noticed it. then he notices clooneys name tag, which is a name that the first 'psychic spy' had dropped, saying this was the most gifted of them all. ewan mentions that guys name and clooney just gets up and walks away as he thinks ewan is after him somehow. when he founds out ewan is just a journalist he loosens up and they talk in a hotel room. ewan happens to doodle a pyramid with an eye in the middle of it (please see my blog 'synchronicitous?' to realize how crazy this was for me) and when clooney sees that he really opens up about their training and abilities, and the ewan ends up tagging along with clooney on his mission in iraq.
at one point later as the two are being held hostage by some typical arabian terrorist types, ewan has no hope, and clooney rips open his shirt and has the pyramid with the third eye in the middle of it, and goes on a little inspirational speech about how this symbol is a sign, a sign to go with your gut feeling and follow the synchronicity, things to that effect. at this point needless to say it straight tripped me out, i seriously felt as if this movie had been produced and marketed to millions and it was really meant for me in that moment, clooney was speaking to me. had i not 2 years prior had an experience with that symbol which i took at the time to be a sign for me to keep following my gut and synchs, this part of the movie would not have tripped me out so. but it did, it was really pretty awesome. i mean, it didnt have to be that symbol, the producers or whoever could have picked any trippy hippy symbol for the 'new earth army' to have tattooed on their chest.
i wanted mainly to write this and get the most MEGA synch of my life on the table, and i will continue on my path most especially now that george clooney told me to. he seems to be a synchronicity master, he was such in 'O brother' as well.
needless to say this movie is full of alllll types of things like mentions of MK Ultra and other top secret gov't shit, and when it was over i told my dad 'it wasnt MORE of this is true than you would believe, ALL of it was true'.
oh and i forgot to mention, when ewan and clooney are first meeting and opening up in the room, clooney tells ewan (obi-wan) that the program trained jedi warriors. no, this is not coincidence. and in the end of the movie ewan says 'we need jedi more than ever in this world' as he jumps thru a wall.

There's so much more great story out there to tell on the big screen. My rule of thumb is. I know, they know alot more of us are wise to the program now. The cats out of the bag,
So I'm putting myself in there shoes "how are we going to flip this'" we got to give then some truth then slip in the program like bait and switch. One thing is for shore they wouldn't be putting out so many flicks with this subject matter if everything was going as planned. The other thing to consider is we have double agents in there, the whistle blowers that sneak out info and maybe a few that have got some real pull and are able to put info. out front.This movie has some comic relief in it, right, to buffer the impact? Now my question is did Clooney have anything to do with the producing of this movie? As far as the new Star Wars that's,... oh whats his name? Dream Scape's? no, whats his name? the producer! you know.. I have a feeling he's on our side. His Star Wars movie's are filled with spiritual metaphors, use of the force for good or evil, all the proverbial wisdom of Yoda. I went to see District 9 they played with a lot of social issue's one layer down under the surface the cool thing was the aliens looked pretty ugly but by mid movie we were pulling for them. They had the same average Joe theme as the focus character but you didn't won't to be him cause he was a nerd. Again buy the end of the movie people sympathized with him along with the aliens I was surprised the government came out the bad guys but it wasn't the US gov. I believe that film was foreign, That's funny, how "Foreign Film" is actually a tag that get's used to describe films made outside of here. I wonder if producers over sea's go around saying I'm making a foreign film then the guy he's talking to says "Oh yea! what country you going to make it in?

i rly dont think that any unwanted thing comes out in mainstream media, i dont think this movie was made to impart knowledge, rather be a buffer like you said, a lot having to do with the comic effect u mentioned.
i think i noticed in the credits that clooney was an exec producer of the movie.
i do not think george lucas is trying to impart knowledge either, i think those movies intentionally distort peoples perception of the difference between fantasy and reality.

...it seems to be happening more and more
so good to read/see that it is not only me who is "going crazy" ;)) - however, I also feel that it has to do with shifting within yourself as well.
I mean I watched a re-run of ER out of the mid-90s lately - and there is lots of what a normal watcher would call "weird" stuff in some episodes - but when I had watched it back then I was not "wired" in right either so did not recognise, now I do (or do I just want to see?)
Same goes for the movie Bobby - the first time I watched it did not do too much to me, now I could not stop wanting more of what they are "saying"
And funny thing - last night I switched on the TV in the hotel I am staying and they did show one of the Indiana Jones movies (I am not a big fan of those normally, have not seen any fully and don't know what they are called) but this one was somewhere in a Mayan/Atzek ancient site where they were looking for gold (Mr Jones at one piont mentioned to them gold can also be translated as meaning treasure and the treasure was awareness - I mean come on!!!) and the pyramid with the knowledge & extraterrestirals etc - years ago I would have just sat there as well going "oh yeah, sure - another hollywood director going nuts" and now I just wonder - do they do it on purpose to let those who believe hanging on or do they also believe?
has it always been there and even communicated and only now more of us understand? or do we want to see it that way and there was never a purpose behind it?
I don't know and not sure whether I care either - I will just take it as it comes to me :)

or maybe there's something intrinsic about that symbol that lends itself to the idea of following synchronicity. One of my most interesting synchronicities, which additionally was one of my first post 'awakening' synchs, centered on the discovery of the meaning of the pyramid eye symbol. through a series of remarkable synchronicities, which i followed, each precluding the next, i came upon an old drawing i had made of an eye atop a pyramid and snakes surrounding some teepees (also pyramid shaped). i was blown away on seeing the picture again because i instantly understood the thing in a new way that was informed partly by the synchronicities that just occurred as well as by my newly awakened worldview. on seeing it a new packet of info was downloaded in ma brain, capping the string of synchs.
i wonder if there is a significant amount of others could say something similar about a convergence of synchronicity and this symbol.
the pyramid is mountain shaped, and mountains inspire a desire to ascend, to be on top, to know what is known at the top (what was learned on the ascent). wisdom. reaching the top is knowing. wisdom of the eye pyramid knows that following intuition was essential to get you there. getting in touch with intuition was crucial in the process of ascent?????
or at least, the knowledge symbolized by the ONE eye in or on pyramid blesses the knower of the symbol with knowledge of synchronicity. the symbol seems to stand for enlightenment. and of utmost importance on continuing on the path of illumination is following the signs that start cropping up around you like mushrooms after a new rain?
all seeing. one instead of two, representing union and the ultimate. god. one thing controlling the mountain. one thing controlling the whole damn thing. one thing that is the mountain, probably, rather. to better tap into the flow of the one thing, the whole of existence, may be done through synchronicity. dun dun dunnnnnnnnn?
perhaps your feeling that clooney spoke to you was god or the devil or both of them at once or some fucking demon or angel or alien or spirit or your brain or your past or the illuminati texting you through that symbol. like, hey, remember me? or like, yoohooo, over here, i got something for you! or something. nahh thats too crazy right? wouldn't you know it, first thing i do after posting that last comment (which i never do, maybe three times i've replied to a post after being here since this places inception) is click recent blogs and wham first thing i see is the all seeing eye in a pyramid surrounded by an ouroboro (someone's icon). i just froze for awhile. i had googled earlier about when synchronicities stop coming around.. haven't had a good one for a long time. funny bout that.
i mean i know there's plenty of thos symbols hidden around this website, but still, makes you wonder

its rly significant to me that the eye was in the middle of the pyramid rather than on the top. it rly felt like some alien or some power getting control of me in that scene like you said, haha, no way do i think it is tooo crazy. i think that is what it was hah

not long after that whole thing i found a link to this blog http://secretsun.blogspot.com/ which i clicked on, having forgotten about it and not visiting it in a year or so. the day's post was, lo and behold, about the number 9 and synchronicity! strange, cause i really didn't surf web much today, was doing homework, staying in my left brain. wasn't looking for the number 9 or anything. pretty sweet. its funny cause i had been meditating for awhile now on how long it's been since i've felt 'in tune'.. though the past couple nights i have been able to remember some of my dreams finally, and now sync has shown up again in my life. another example of how thinking about sync seems to bring it out more.
i'm tentatively taking it as a message to embrace and look out for signs again, engage more fully once again in the game of symbols. i see that i've come to neglect that view of the world.

I thought you just wanted to be a Jedi. Don't worry about the Illuminati there about done here, but please believe there are people close to them that are helping us I can't Say about Lucas but what he says about the force is true. There's universal laws that if you know how to use then they work. There nothing wrong with a eye or a pyramid.
It's the intention behind it's use. there using the higher sciences against the masses, People are now waking up to it and realizing there own connection to creation, there oneness. The Illuminati is only as powerful as we allow them to be. They've thrown just about every think at us and we're still here young man, still standing. they might as well grad the kitchen silk LOL!!!

Well that's really interesting. Saw Men Who Stare At Goats movie on the 16th last Monday and thought when I saw the symbol of the Eye in the Pyramid, in the movie, Wow! That's really weird! So weird and obvious, going to have to look it up. See what I can find on that one. Thus I came upon your blog...
I dreampt or had a hypnogogic vision of that symbol (Eye in the Pyramid and Not on a dollar bill) in 1973, WAY before anyone had heard of the eye in the Pyramid, aka the symbol on the dollar bill, the Illuminati, etc.
(In 1973 I then went on to experience other coincidences/visions/synchronicities, but just like in the movie, you don't really know where it's going to take you until you get there. You just go with it. But that's a whole other story. No need to get into it.)
Anyway, here 'we are again' :) That eye in pyramid symbol in the movie, 'Men Who Stare At Goats', it seemed sorta out of place or something in that particular movie. Do you know what I mean?
Just seems like the symbol has popped up again as a way to be prodded to be paying attention to the 'sychronicities' for those who pay attention to such things. And most people don't.
Oh btw, the character played by Jeff Bridges was based on a real character. He was consultant to the people who made the movie (which is based on a true story and a real life book.) It may have been his suggestion to throw in that symbol... I have heard an interview with him (will follow up this post with his name and his web site-it still exists. Men Who Stare At Goats was not your typical Hollywood movie.
Other than that, used to be lots of peeps in Hollywood are into the occult and psychically aware. As for the movie being 'Illuminati' - my best guess is yes and no, whatever 'Illuminati' is anyway ;) Evenso, it's not necessarily all good or bad.
Wasn't coincidences (synchronicities) the first 'secret' in the book, Celestine Prophesy (James Redfield.)? The book was a bit hokey. I think the author had a sense of 'something going on' too, but didn't know what it was or how to accurately write about it or define it for people.
Further weirdness, I'm reading through the responses above and 'sonofman' put a link to the site, 'secretsun.blogspot.com'.
This morning I dreampt of these vibrations which I was experiencing and which seemed like an earthquake. There was shaking, then it would stop, then there was more shaking, then stopped again, then more, etc.
I thought it was an earthquake in my dream but someone in the dream said to me, 'No, it's not an earthquake. It's the Third Sun (the three - sun) and only some people are experiencing it. The other people are not (experiencing this 'three sun', whatever...) I checked out the 'secretsun' blog and it makes reference to Shamballa, and '3 dog night', among other things.
Too weird. Going to start watching the coincidences again :) I think I'm on board with ya Christopher, think I know what you are getting at ;)
