When I was nineteen, this bold, brilliant, beautiful witch spread her Tarot cards across my bed. I flipped up “The Fool.” I blushed. She laughed, and promised that I’d be safer than all those kids dancing along the Abyss. Of course, I’ve slide off a lot. And so now I’ll skip a good foot away from the danger. And haul my bag of stories which reveal the extreme edge. That act defies logic, that I know.
