The Book of Forgiveness
Drinking yagé during daylight was an overwhelming experience. I became one with Mother Nature. I can see the air. I became one with my surrounding environment.

A sense of peacefulness invaded my soul and body, but something was off, as I take a closer look into the experience. I had to face some personal unfinished issues that I had avoided for quite a long time.

The ancestor spoke once more: “Going through life without inner peace is like carrying a heavy stone on top of your shoulders. You can ignore the heavy stone as long as you want, but eventually you have to let it go.”

“How is that possible?” I asked. It seemed to be so difficult.

“Think about an hourglass instead of the heaviness of the stone,” the ancestor said.

“What does an hourglass have to do with anything?”

“The book of forgiveness is represented by an hourglass,” the ancestor responded.

As the ancestor mentioned that, I found myself walking bare foot on pure white sand. The sky was the most beautiful blue I have ever seen in my entire life. I felt a calm breeze all around my body. What a peaceful place! I also noticed I was holding an hourglass in my hand.

The ancestor said, “The sand contained in the hourglass represent all sources of bad experiences and issues you may have to forgive and forget at the present time. Open the hourglass and pour the content on the ground. Let it go.”

After I was done I placed the hourglass on the ground, and it just melted and disappeared into the white sand. The content and the vessel were gone. It was a new beginning!

Synchronicity

That quote, "--that which is behind us, and that which is before us, is of little matter compared to what is within us..."

I just came across it an hour ago on another forum discussing culture shock upon returning to America from India....
