There is nothing to fear and much to gain. The eye was always there, it's just been given a pair of glasses. When one realizes and sees that the construct of the machine (ergo the human mind) is but an interface to reality we can then begin to ask unanswerable important questions. Why do I see the world the way I do? What does this soup of beauty and information mean? And god said, and god said, and god said etc... But, existence said!!! This bending of mind is not what I was taught nor told. How can one move forward in a world filled with people that consume meaningless information. In truth though, I believe that no one is wrong and no one is correct. The third eye is a vista into a realm of personal exploration, conciseness, and faith. Yes, I did say faith. While I am not a religious conformist I must agree that there is a lot that is built upon us in experience that gives rise to faith. Do not confuse religion with faith for religion is the death of personal faith. Find eyes that are open and and listen to them, but make sure that you always come to your own conclusions. The cosmos as you see it will always be the cosmos as you see it. I can right a book about the way I see existence. But, that is the way I see existence. I can guide you, but never lead you, for that would be religion.
