groks

I sat in the chair never having experienced such volatility. I was a blessed man humbly receivig nourishment. Then I was subject of some sick scientific experiment - shoveling chemicals into my mouth well-known to be hazardous. And everyone there gorged on this food like it was their last. I was disusted. Yellow cheese on eggs, grits, blueberry pancakes, some pink diabetic drink, all for one.
But as I sipped my coffee I was grateful, even as the server bumped into me repeatedly as she toted processed cookies, pesticide ridden orange slices, and water to patrons waiting for a table. This was enlightenment. Rejoice in food and drink. All else is vanity.

poetic

I'm not sure if this was intended as a poem, but it reads very poetically. I like it.
