Mother brought up Catholic, Father raised 7th day Adventist, sent to Christian school for the education, Turned off by religion through early experiences in said school, Parents always advocated finding my own spirituality, I believe life is an ever changing journey and as of now I believe religion to be a tool used to conform and control, yet there still must be something greater than our own cognition may be capable of understanding. I believe a shift is coming, and am seeking the tools to prepare for this transition. "History may not repeat itself but it sure seems to rhyme" I am at a loss to who quoted this but it has stuck with me.
