Power of touch. Laying of hands. Reiki. The science… is it possible for two molecules or atoms to touch without reacting? Like when skin touches skin. One person touches another. Fact is every surface boils down to a molecular bunch of atoms that make it “hard matter.” If the hairs on a person’s skin get touched they send a signal to the skin cells to react (goose bumps etc…) These signals are simply teeny machines aka molecules that literally interlock with each other in a cascade fashion until a certain response is made. What if instead of just the hairs on the skin being touched, the actual molecular surface of the skin is touched by a foreign molecular surface (another person’s skin) ???? Would this disrupt the molecules in any way? Would this send a kind of signal to the skin cells? Would the signal depend on which molecules are touching the receptors? Or do our skin cells only have receptors for certain things? In theory, could signals be sent to a person via touch by another person due to cell communication? BRAILLE works in a similar way. They read what they touch. Do skin cells have ligands (signals) that bind to receptor proteins on epithelial cells?mechanotransduction shows enough evidence that touch makes a difference in cells, cell signaling, and ultimately the messages our body receives. But can different touches not just start a reaction so the body can communicate to itself, but is it possible that ligands are on the surfaces of different organic things that we touch so that our skin receptors actually receive SPECIFIC messages through the molecular interaction between the surfaces of two organic organisms? In other words, is it possible to send a message through touch? Possibly even to read cognitive information through touch. The science behind laying of the hands is mechanotransduction. What is the science behind reiki. Or psychic readings. Why is they touch of certain people calming. And would it be possible to isolate the reaction from the different variables that would affect emotion and wellbeing?

Because the fact is... we are not solid. Like the Buddhist idea of no self. If you put car parts together you have a car. But take them all apart and you will see that the car is made of just a bunch of smaller parts. (that was not a metaphor made up by me.) We are nothing but chemicals interacting and locking onto each other. It is a miracle how much goes on just to make enough molecular energy to make our bodies appear solid. If you have a handful of pennies you can manipulate through them no problem. If you get a trillion pennies and put them together you’ve pretty much made a solid seeming structure than is like a dam. It is very hard to penetrate. But in reality, it is just SOOO many and SOOO much of the tiny little pennies put together. Broken down to it’s core it’s just a bunch of pennies. As we are only a bunch of molecules bonded chemically together.

The attached video shows the molecular surface of a cell. People see it and think it's just another cartoon. NO. This is LITERALLY what is happening in our bodies, just magnified. Our "solid" structure is just made of cells that are ultimately just made of bonded molecules. There is no solid surface. LOOK at the molecular surface of the cell in the video. THAT is all you are made of. So why is it foolish to think that those molecules could be easily altered? It's not foolish. People for some reason view "energy" as a term used for some invisible hippy force. I even did that for probably the first half of my massage career when I truly thought I believed in energy work. It wasn't until I started studying science that I realized I ACTUALLY believe everything I was saying. Energy is an ACTUAL thing. It's not just a foo foo magical idea. Much like electricity, it is science. It flows. It can be manipulated. And IT is what makes everything. Matter is only this "energy" manifested. It's just these chemicals bonded. WE ARE ENERGY. And if our brain can tell our arm to move, why would it seem stupid to think that our thoughts (brain) could tell other parts of our brain to act. What I mean is, if our cognition controls our intentional motor functions, then it would make perfect sense to say that our cognition (thoughts) could control other things to... like our body systems. Our thoughts and the molecular energy (intention) that signals them to arise, can relax us or aggitate us. The only proven magic I've seen is in the facts. These are the facts.... and they are mind blowing when you truly grasp what we are made of and how much it must take. Yet at the same time how small we are in the world. We are walking breathing miracles. And in my opinion we have evolved at an incredible pace considering the amount of metabolic activity within each of us.

Amazing graphic thanks!

Thanks for the video. Much easier to visualise self healing..

Makes me think 'as above, so below' and 'wheels within wheels'. Sometimes I think the body is far more intelligent than the host...
