Bio

I'm an Environmental Conservationist, Community Organizer, Grant Writer, Event Planner, Fundraising & Development Coordinator - I do it all.

After several years of global travels: volunteering in Coastal Ecuador, backpacking Central America, living and working in rural Guatemala, then a year long stint managring an office of an environmental nonprofit in Bali, solo traveling in India, Thailand- I'm back in my hometown with more focus and dedication than ever towards community building and creating a tribe of Midwestern Evolvers.

i have voracious energy that allows to work a normal 8-5, and organize several groups on the side, plus do volunteering.

At the moment i'm reading tons of Gabriel Cousens books on Raw Food, Terence Mckenna, Ram Dass, Carlos Castaneda Howard Zinn's People's History of the United States. Shantaram. The Drifters. Dharma Bums. The Cruelest Journey. Travels- by Michael Crichton , Jitterbug Perfume-Robbins.
What I'm Listening To

Movies I've Seen Recently
Koyaanisqatsi, The Wisdom of the Dream, Alone Across Australia, Waking Life, They Live. Some favorite directors include Werner Herzog, Alejandro Jodorowsky, Pedro Almodovar, Jim Jarmusch, Gaspar Noe and Kim Ki-duk. I really dig counter culture, cult and far out and obscure films.
