The measurement problem - An atom only appears in a particular place when you measure it. An atom is spread out all over the place until some observes it, so the act of observation creates the entire universe.

Its funny how science is now

Its funny how science is now so astonished to know what shamans have known for thousands of years

I love how years after

I love how years after science explained away god, and other spirtual beliefs. Quantum mechanics and physics has opened pandoras box, and a new possiblity for spirtuality amongst science.

No shamans didn't know that

No shamans didn't know that deep into physics of course, but if you look at their over all beliefs, its one of the only ones that I've ever studied that holds up so well to science and physics for that matter. I was just bringing up the possibility that we are so intertwined wth the universe that the act of observation alone has effects that reach farther than we thought and even into the depths of reality itself. Like the commonly accepted shamn belief that were all connected through a web of energy and anything we do or think can potentially affect whatever is connected to this web which is well...the entire universe. That in itself is such a crazy idea that if and when science can understand this "observation problem" i think it could rock the foundation of everyones beliefs. I just find it so interesting because in terms of beliefs the common shaman and some new age beliefs fit so well with science and physics.
