Hummingbirds, Clouds of Light, Sacred Bundles, and Dream Synchroncities

IcerocketJust about a month ago, I had one of the most powerful dreams of my life which was then followed by a series of very serious synchronicities mostly involving Evolver.net.
After having the dream, I posted this dream on the Dream section of Evolver. One of the most vivid themes of the dream was hummingbirds. In the Dream Group discussion section we talked about how a lot of crop circle this year are themed around flying beings. I rather flippantly commented that maybe then next crop circle would be a hummingbird. That's exactly what happened two weeks later.
After this ridiculous synchronicity, which to me was way beyond coincidence, I thought I would post a description of the dream available to everyone and see if there are further elements of the dream that become clear for all of us. So, here's the dream:
Part one: I am staying at a wilderness lodge of some sort with several friends all of whom have kids. I am also there with my family. The lodge has several large glass windows, and as we are looking through the glass we see that the lush green vegetation is actually freezing as we watch. A very intense cold front is rolling in. The glass actually cracks in a few places, and all of us families realize we need to get home as soon as possible.
Part two: In this part of the dream, there is a series of interconnected scenes that repeat similar themes and ideas. The first one is like a secret mission involving some sort of staged college campus. The team I am with is recovering some sort of important ancient object. I don't actually see the object, but the whole point of the college was for us to obtain this object.
Through the rest of Part two, I am traveling through a variety of locales carrying this object with changing companions. The object seems to change form as the scene changes. Sometimes it seems technological. At one point someone jokingly asks, "Is it the holy grail?". I most clearly see one form of the object during one scene while on the bank of a river. It is a band of some sort woven of cedar bark decorated with shells and maybe feathers. It looks a little bit like a wampam belt.
Part three: This was by far the most powerful part of the dream(s). A group of my friends, peers, co-workers, etc. was gathered at a different "lodge" location. This one was in a remote location surrounded by small boulders. A teacher of mine enters the scene and says, "They've shut down all the highways through out the state".
We all go outside to a place where somebody says there are a lot of bears. On the way outside a hugh flare lights up the sky in all directions, and we see all these people out of there cars and houses looking up in the sky. We look up and see that they are staring at an immense cloud lit up by beautiful lights inside. Looking at the cloud inspires a sense of awe and wonder (not fear). It's like looking at God or something.
We then see little darts of light going in and out of the cloud. At first they look like fireflies or shooting start, but then I realize they are hummingbirds made of light. The hummingbirds go to the cloud and then down to the earth and people, but do not go into people.
We all look at each other and then go back into the "lodge". A new companion is selected for me to travel with and then we are placed in a hidden chamber with the sacred object with us. The next morning I head out with my companion with the sacred object with us to take it to its next location. It's implied that the object somehow caused the cloud in the sky and the hummingbirds.

After waking from this dream, I was in a pretty severely altered state of consciousness for quite awhile. I felt very peaceful but sort of stuck between the dream world and waking consciousness. I also realized that I had been reading Bradford Keeney's work on the Bushmen spiritual world and that his work had probably colored my dream.
The next day I wrote the following on Evolver.net's dream section:
"Had a crazy dream last night with a huge cloud full of light in the sky. People had stopped their cars and got out to look at it. It was not a spaceship. Rather, there were hummingbirds of light zipping back and forth from the cloud to all over the earth.
Earlier in the dream some friends and I had been given the task of carrying a sacred object that kept changing forms as we entered different places.
Does this have significance to anyone else?"

Really beautiful. What comes to mind are the crop formations of birds from the past week. There was a phoenix followed by an Aztec bird symbol. Crop circles have been seen to be accompanied by balls of light zipping around like your hummingbirds, or rays of light from the sky. The hummingbirds seem to be disseminating something.

Earlier this evening, I had a strange experience walking down the street. A man walked out from his driveway holding two live pigeons in each hand, by the wings. He walked out to the road and threw them. I wondered if they would fall to the ground and get hit by a car, but they flew up into the air normally. I also wondered how he managed to get two pigeons in each hand.
UFOs are truly not literal spaceships. The appear in all sorts of forms and often shapeshift as did the sacred object in your dream. Earlier today I found this video of a simple ring hovering in the sky, similar to another one seen in the 1950's, which became engulfed by a cloud while it was being photographed. Note how the YouTube one appears next to an amusement park ride, which is a ring of people being raised into the sky and then lowered back down again.

Umm, I'm kind of at a loss for words. I've been gone at a week long intensive for the Nature Connection and Mentoring work I do, and I just found out about the hummingbird circle. Pretty amazing. I guess this is just one of those very verifiable synchronistic events.
I wonder if the cloud in the sky is coming next...."

Like everybody else on this site, I'm guessing, I've been running down my own psychic synchronicities and in my travels through David Wilcock's site and Project Camelot's site, I previously have found discussions (to my recollection all involving David Wilcock) of a technological object of seemingly historical origin with metaphysical properties (sometimes referred to as a "looking glass") that was stolen from the "powers that be" and thereby derailed, in part, their sinister plans. The people that stole it are on the run with it, also as depicted in your dream. Sounds like a movie script, but according to David Wilcock (the alleged reincarnation of Edgar Cayce) this is a real event. The device in your dream sounds suspiciously similar. Thought you might want to check it out. Oh, yeah, I'm pretty sure web bots picked up on this as well.

I was stunned to read about your hummingbird dream. I would like to tell you about my hummingbird contact and subsequent synchronicities. I was lucky enough to have a friend's cabin to myself for a whole week, the third week of June. It is on an island in Desolation Sound off north Vancouver Island and is not only beautiful but populated by many wonderful creatures - whales, sea lions, herons, eagles, ravens and hummingbirds. In fact every day there was a hummingbird hovering by my face as I had my morning coffee on the deck. They would come so close and stay there by my left ear until I moved. One morning as I stood looking out the window one zoomed over and hovered looking me right in the eye for several seconds. I felt like it was communicating with me or teaching me something.
I was reading 2 books that week- one was There's no place like Ohm, for my studies in sound healing with tuning forks, and the other was Alberto Villoldo's stunning book called Courageous Dreaming.
He uses 4 animal archetypes to illustrate the states of consciouness (and the 4 directions). The hummingbird represents the dreaming state, or the soul level of consciousness (and the north direction). It is associated with theta waves, a profoundly creative state in which we perceive in metaphors and symbols. From this perspective your dream could represent a message from the soul. Villodo also connects the 4 levels of consciousness with layers of our energy bodies of different frequencies,(physical, emotional, soul and spirit)- the hummingbird is the soul layer of the Energy Field, a vibrating field of light that acts as a blueprint for our thoughts, feelings and physical body. Light carries information - did your light filled hummingbirds?
When I got home from vacation I felt compelled to google hummingbirds to learn more about these magical creatures and was astounded to see the crop circle!
Strange isn't it! It makes me wonder how many others have had hummingbird contact. And also if Rupert Sheldrake's morphogenic field theory is playing out in the formation of crop circles. Maybe WE are creating them.
Every time i activate the tuning forks I think of those hummingbirds and the incredible sound their wings make. As Villodo writes - "the hummingbird is the symbol of the great traveller -reminding us of the journey each one of is on."

Thanks for the story and info! I also read Courageous Dreaming in the spring. I was planning on re-reading the section on Hummingbird consciousness after the dream.
I think you may be onto something with the idea that we may be manifesting the crop-circles through the collective consciousness.

The cloud may be related to the Shekinah, the feminine aspect of Creator. She fits with the woman in Revelation 12. In terms of the Tree of Life, the Above Shekinah is sphere 3, and the Below Shekinah is sphere 10. Some say she corresponds to the collective unconscious.

I would say that the hummingbirds zipping back and forth from the cloud to the people on early represent this “conveyor belt moving between the cosmos and humanity”. The crop formation itself could be interpreted as an illustration of a flow between two points.

Fantastic dream. The dream I had last night may sound hoaxed in light of everything said above but really did dream this....There are conveyor bellts of moving Aztec-like symbols with scarabs and some sort of bird opening into layers upon layers - everything is bursting and opening into pure light. Quite brilliant and lovely. I woke up drenched in sweat. Having dreams/visions like this a few times a month and have been getting more vivid/clear/intense lately. Of course I am not the only one.... at a minimum, seeing this as an exciting collective psycological awakening/quantum leap but hesitate to put too many words on it.

It was a very strange feeling reading about your dream. There does seem to be a network forming, or being revealed, where there are connections appearing in people's dreams, synchronicities, and outward phenomena like crop circles and UFOs. I definitely agree that this is collective, where anyone can be a sort of nodal point that can receive and send.
In January I published an article on Reality Sandwich called "The Book in the Sky". It was about a dream I had in which there were rows of foreign symbols in the sky, all moving slowly left to right like a series of conveyor belts. Within this matrix of symbols there was a letter A, and it had a sort of emphasis on it. A woman next to me said "Not long now".

Around the same time, Jennifer Palmer, who also writes for RS, had a dream of a row of symbols in the sky with a letter A. In the article I propose that these dreams are about a universal field becoming accessible to us.
In the last year, there have been several sightings of UFO's forming symbols.
In June there was a crop formation that arrived in three stages and ended up 1500 feet in length. The third stage was five long rows of alien-type symbols.

The conveyor belt image is pretty interesting. The hummingbirds were definitely connecting the cloud of light to people on the ground. I mentioned earlier that I had been reading some of Bradford Keeney's works on Bushman shamans. The chapter I had been reading related was called "The Ropes to God", which is also the name of one of his books.
Bushman shaman can see cords or ropes of light that connect them to the sky world and to many places on earth. The ones that are vertical some of them can climb to the world of the ancestors.
Also, sometimes during a really powerful dance the ancestors actually descend and their village comes and hovers over the Bushman dancers.
So, perhaps some of us in our dream and elsewhere are seeing some of the "ropes to god".
Btw, John are you familiar with Dzogchen and Tibetan teachings regarding the A-sound? It is considered a primal "seed-syllable" from which all sounds and the rest of the universe arise. Dzogchen masters over time are able to see the universe as the seed-syllables (or something like that, I'm probably butchering this a little since I'm not a Dzogchen master that I know of). One of the primary practices of Dzogchen is sky-gazing. Your dream sounds sort of like you were seeing seed syllables in the sky.

the image that john topp posted above of ufos forming symbols is eerily similar to a dream I had a while back. When I saw it pictured above I instantly recognized it...then as I read more about the bushmen shamans and the chords of light to the heavens I got even more excited.
When I was in my late teenage years and early twenties I would see these beams of light from the sky following me around everywhere. I told some people but they thought I was full of it or just crazy. Now I have questions that need research such as why were they following me back then and why does it seem to have ceased?
Anyway, thank you for your blog. I am also having some awesome hummingbird sightings where they seem to be lingering longer than in the past.
The amount of synchronicities being seen here on evolver and around the world is really tripping me out right now...its tough to focus on anything else...peace.

I clicked on the evolver page header to refresh the page when i opened up my laptop and there was this story next to your dream, which i had read a day or so ago. Seems more and more synchronicities are cropping up. It's spooky, scary, wonderful, and awe-inspiring all at the same time. I think it really makes you feel like we really are immersed, inter-connected, inseprable to the vast universal spiderweb of subtle energies.

Hi Pathfinder, John and everyone else!
I'm amazed and excited to read this post and its comments. As John mentioned, he and I had a similar dream some time back involving symbols in the sky that seem to resonate with several subsequent crop circles and UFO sightings. Since November of 2007 I've been on a path that includes more and more synchronicity with many others--to the point that i'm nearly constantly blown away by the awesomeness of the connections that are revealed. On Nov 22 of 2008 I had an experience on a beach that profoundly accelerated my own personal evolution insofar as I felt I was given a vision/message that I needed to share in some way--but in a manner that was not yet obvious--and still isn't--as is evident from my fumbling around for the right words in this comment box. Inspired by all of you i'll say this much: the vision was of seeing "others" in the clouds. Birds featured in the experience as well--hovering in the sky and "leading" my gaze to the clouds. Birds have since figured in many dreams and in waking life. Usually these are hawks or falcons of some sort. I've since experienced other sightings of "others" in the clouds--some might call them UFOs or ghosts or spirits--but I feel that what I'm seeing is my mind's attempt at making sense of something that is outside of our accepted reality. There is something happening that is crystallizing the energy up in our atmosphere--I feel that recent crop circles and the above average number of crashes and near crashes of airplanes are a part of this phenomenon. That said, I'm convinced that the "beings" in the clouds are not evil or meaning harm in any way. Quite the opposite! They exist on the level of energy and light... I haven't told anyone about them "in real life" about what happened because I've felt a strong compulsion not to do that. Until now I've been working around the subject in my writings by discussing and researching the nature of reality, as I feel that what i saw is available for all to see if they could step back and really look "up" and outward. I feel like if I just come out and broadcast it I will be dismissed as crazy which would destroy the point of trying to communicate. I had no plans of writing about it today but here i am doing this because it feels right somehow...perhaps seeing comments from John was a sign to do so...I don't know.
At any rate thank you for reading and for sharing. The pace of whatever's happening seems to be accelerating rapidly. I'm a little scared to press post on this comment--but not posting it no longer seems like an option either. Please keep looking up at the clouds and reporting what you see!

Sohumm -- I too saw hummingbirds daily on a recent visit to my parents' on an island in Desolation Sound! My mom said she'd never seen so many visit her deck as this year, and they were far less shy about getting near than in the past.
Also, one evening recently in my backyard a dragonfly (another of this summer's crop-featured animals) circled the yard and then my head for about three minutes. This was the first time I'd seen a dragonfly in the city, and not anywhere near fresh water.

I had a dream about hummingbirds a couple of weeks ago that in some ways mirrors this one..It was quite strange and I was not sure how to react to it because it was so bizarre.
I just read this article and the dream has taken on a new significance...In my hummingbird dream I was also at a outdoor camp or retreat with a group of other people. We were in a field and there were hummingbirds all around. Several kept landing on my finger and hovering around my head. But as soon as they landed they would deflate or dissolve immediately. In the dream this struck be as a bit frightening but also beautiful. I also had this strange sense that a larger environmental event was taking place although I was unable to fully comprehend it...

I have been seeing hummingbirds all week... which is pretty unusual. I think they were baby hummingbirds.
I did have an interesting dream about people dressed in green (i was one) trying to get somewhere, but people dressed in white kept trying to stop us. So after a while I started just throwing the people in white out of the way by getting them in the solar plexus (I am not into martial arts or anything so I dont know where it came from) and one woman I picked up I realized mid air she was not one of them so i put her down very gently. I kept going and finally went down a hallway. I was one of the last to get into this classroom. There were a few guys trying to get in and even though they were dressed in white they pulled off their outfits and were wearing the green underneath.
A friend of mine told me about his similar dream in which him and a group of explorers were on a spiritual planet fighting toxic blobs that destroyed everything they touched. They were blowing them up with machine guns to protect the planet. Then they got to the giant Ygrassil tree which was magnificent. And the air on this planet was euphoric. When he asked them if they had to pay for the air or the plants the people said "what are you from the year 2000? No here nature and everything is free."

You might want to check out some of the dreams posted in the dream group. Many of them sound similar to your dream with green people and white people. In these dreams with themes of Apocalypse and mass control, certain groups of people are trying to free/liberate/protect others with the foreknowledge of what is about to/is happening.

I had a dream about men in red with nuclear power reactors as their insignia. They are taking over large cities and corporations are their headquarters - there is a red glow everywhere. The streets are chaos and degenerated. They are giving everyone who is not one of them a few hours to get out of the cities. On a more positive note, in the dream I felt I had complete freedom and there was limitless possibility - since these "men" are now out of hiding, there is no denying they exist and they MUST be dealt with by all of us as a collective. The problem is the dispair of all of those who are "seeing" this reality for the first time. Instead of organizing, they are crawling on the ground.
I don't see this as some kind of future apocolypse. I see this as NOW - completely symbolic.

I find some parallels between your dream and a place inside my dream realm. It is a place I have been watching for a couple of years, and I have found myself within this dream scape at least 4 times.
the first time I woke up inside of the dream I was on a college campus and had gone to a place that seemed like it was my room. I was sitting there wondering why the symbol of being on a college campus (versus getting your drivers license, graduating from highschool, getting new tags etc) had been revealed and what I was supposed to do there. I was staring out the window at the clouds when I had the distinct impression the cloud was a space ship.. and I got very excited to see them again inside my dream.
On my next visit to the college campus, I found myself outside with the others. again I was staring at the clouds watching them float across the sky like little space ships, Then comes this movement of a large cloud, which is the Mother Ship, and all the little space ships (which look like clouds begin moving towards her body. Then SUDDENLY a whole spray of little space ships shoot off from her body, and this time they are not concealed.. and stunned I was trying to say, "look in the sky" but no one was seeming to hear me.
In the next campus dream, we had gone to an auditorium first, ran into some friends there and played like children together.. and afterwards i found myself again outside when I saw a tubular cloud, (this one was a dark gray/black cloud) It was coming towards us as if there were bringing the most urgent message (which in the waking world turned out to be a technology download to open the path to teleporting) In the dream the space ship was tubular and was hiding behind a gray to black cloud.
The next one was really similar to your hummingbird dream. Again I found myself in the campus dream, and as always i found a way to stand upon the campus ground. this time there was great excitement and everyone was looking to the clouds..... these space ships were the round saucer shaped ones. and lights were coming down out of them, like downloads to the people......
the reason I wanted to share this is I wonder if we could have been experiencing the same dream scape only you are interpreting through your experience and I am interpreting through mine...
after this dream the hummingbird came and told me that it was going to be walking with me for a time now... You know they are talking to you when they fly right up to your face....... I was moving and the humming bird at my old old house told me.... well the hummingbird was here and there.....
Interesting dream...... I think (at least in mine) I interpret it as a download for humanity

o my goodness, after reading John's blog, The Book in the Sky, I just had to go back and locate the dream. His dream reminded me that I had seen inside a dream where there were all these codes in the sky.. Looking for the dream I found it in my Campus Dream folder, and it was the one I was attempting to describe to you Pathfinder.. so here is the dream.. It is not exactly like I tried to share it earlier (thankfully I write them down) and it was what I considered to be a download dream.
here's the dream:
The campus dream series always involves ufo.. always….. again I found myself on the campus (which is like a college campus.. there was a guy there, dressed like Keanu Reeves from the Matrix, he befriended me and we were hanging out a lot together. The dream involved being there several days because every night we would go to bed and every morn we would arise… there was this feeling that something was coming. I was feeling it, and I could feel other people feeling it also.. and before too long there was this buzz of excitement that something was coming
In the campus dreams the ufo’s always are hidden in the clouds. They look like clouds, but at any moment could emerge from the clouds.. and the clouds take on the shape of their ship.

As the dream progressed over several days I was really trying to watch the sky to see who was coming. I kept hearing rumors of other people who had seen them and was trying to track down who was coming.. the guy who looked and dressed like Keanu Reeves from the Matrix (interesting parallel) was with me every where I went.
Then the rumors started getting closer., the buzz got louder. and for some reason my little grandson (who I adore) was in my dream too. I was in my room and there was someone in my bed, an older gentleman with white hair. My grandson had crawled over him and was playing with a knife, so I just moved the bed away from the wall and was gathering my grandson.. seeing many forgotten treasures, one of them seemed like was a skirt I used to wear….. the old man in the bed smiled at my grandson as if he didn’t mind him playing there.. and I was trying to get dressed.. when Madonna walked through the door and her and Keanu Reeves embraced in a dance… and then I felt like dancing, and the music started playing inside my head… and the buzzing kept getting louder, buzzed over real close. As I danced… several of them off in the distance buzzed over like a procession headed somewhere intentional. so I ran out to look just in time to see the one that was passing over where I was… amazingly, these would be the kind of saucer shaped ships, then comes one passing over and right behind it a little one… like a parent with a child…
And as I am standing there trying to figure it all out, and sharing that the 2 of them together looked like parent and child, I am watching the cloud formation in the sky.. and like the Matrix, in the place where there are opening in the clouds I can see through to some kind of coded writing which I am staring at without thinking to place in memory…. Then I think of Kymberlee, thinking she would be remembering these codes.. so I try more to focus and see something like 10G10R10A10N10D… only in the dream, in the places between the clouds there were lines and lines of them.. I saw the download…
For me it is very interesting the observation that this is the 4th Campus Dream, the first one was like an introduction to the Campus dreams, so I would remember the place when I got back to it… in the second dream, the craft I saw were the same like the craft that fly off the Battle Star Galactic.. in the 3rd dream the space craft looked like the cylinder tube, and in this one they looked more like the flying saucer….
