Was thinking about this last night
adam split atom split and then fall....but what is it all for?? What is it really about?
I had a ketamine experience where I traveled into an expanding black crecent like a smiling death. In the blackness I was told that the atom/adam motif was but a reaccuring myth in a different worldveiw and not to fear the bomb at all. Also that the 0 points in calendars line up to a kind of tube and that jesus on the cross and the mayan firstfather sun head on the galactic center {both 0} are related in cross-mytho-worm-hole.
I don't know how I feel about the bomb.

No, I don't know very much about Kabbalah though I do always have my tarot deck close at hand.
Thanks, for your feedback on the poem. I was thinking of the inertia of modern living that allows people to disconnect, sit back and watch the apocalypse from their armchair.There is a definite ridiculousness here.
For me, I think of the advent of language, as the ricochet splitting of the world into discreet things- especially written language, and I see the atom bomb as the ultimate extension of a mechanistic world view.
Your ketamine experiences sound intense. Sometimes, when I'm stoned, I feel like I get information downloads.

Yes, that Preview button is totally tricky. Perhaps an Edit button would be a better feature.
I love your ideas of the apocalypse being "a lonely, frightened creature." It's like a bodhisattva mission- maybe, the apocalypse (the darkest corner of universal psyche) needs to be confronted, loved, and tended to. It threatens destruction only when we blindly ignore the darker aspects of our own nature and culture that need to be confronted with truth. Yes, the apocalypse must be vulnerable too; it's very existence strangely evidence that the ultimate curve of the universe is bent on peace. It rears its ugly head when we go against the flow. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I think you just opened a new door in my thinking here- deepened my compassion on this.
