• One year ago this month (6/17/09) Evolver Los Angeles and 14 other cities around the globe held our first spore: "Spreading the Network."

• One year later on June 16th, 33 cities around the world will be holding spores to discuss "Life in the Universe."

Humans and non-physical beings alike, I am here to point out the fact that we have indeed formed a network, and built a scaffolding from our stories, gifts and our projects. One built on the foundations of eco-stewardship, the human potential movement, new edge sciences, ancient wisdom and pragmatic magickal mental deprogramming applications. As well as many other diverse gateway paradigms that have lead us subjectively to the realization that all life is intertwined in a galactic mystery play. And we are the authors of our life script, to put it simply.

During the course of the Spore Year, we've discussed new ways of approaching value within communities and the relationships, associations and agreements made by the human organism (ciViliZatiOn version 5.0 coming soon). The fine line between madness and shamanism has been explored as well as mental health and psychic initiation. We've shared information regarding our health and eating habits, as they relate to a holistic picture of the individual, as well as the earth and it's creatures. We have addressed that whatever happens in and leading up to 2012, will most likely be subjectively a result of, in a 'Human Action' (1949) sense, our individually thoughts and actions.

We examined the energy and ecological crisis facing our majority 'snooze button' mashing culture. We have explored community responses to natural, man made, and psychological disasters and experimented with modalities intended to encourage, support, and enhance local resilience.

Now as a network we face the fact that things are changing and we are not alone, and never have we been. We are in-between worlds, stories, and contradictions, and we are harmonizing that void with every action we take.

Here we are. Needn't I remind you - we've arrived and use caution as all your stowed personal baggage may have shifted during the descent/ascent to this point. Any unwanted baggage can be deposited for reintegration at any imaginary violet flame you create. Welcome to the year one. Year Zero will begin at it's scheduled galactic time slot. In the mean time, while we hang out in this, as Charles Eisenstein refers to it, the space between stories, we suggest you - find the others and do the work that needs to be done, with the joy of being, the satisfaction of purpose, grounded skepticism, mystique for the unknown and a sense of humor (so as not to take ourselves, our beliefs, and our emerging life styles to seriously) and I'm willing to wager you'll be grateful you did.

Evolver is here and able to exist based on the recognition that a certain percentage of the population is willing and able to change their beliefs and practices to help re-direct the course of human civilization away from destruction > towards the creative emergence of a Type 1 Solar System civilization. There are many of us, and it might only take 5% of the population to lead the planet in a new direction.

This is why I am here. This is why I have always been here. I am honored to be in allegiance with you all, as we co-opt, hybridized and remix our culture and collective myth to tell a new participatory meta-story. For now its > back to the drawing board...
