"One of history's
Many mistakes
Is the tale of St. Pat
Who drove out the snakes,
An act which took
No special grace
Since none were there
In the first place.
Wat he drove
From Ireland's shore
Was the Ancient Mother
With her Serpent lore.
On this March day,
For the Mother's sake,
Let pagans remember
And honor the snake."
Happy All-Snakes Day!

As the snakes remind us, remember to embrace the random and to ride the spiral 'till it ends as it may just go where no one's been. Do this by being fully present as much as you can, and always remember to evolve responsibly and feed your will organic optimism.

I think this is awesome...
But what I dont understand is why would it be that the irish pagans would have a particular affinity and reverence to snakes if there where no snakes in ireland to begin with?

you got it
well, i do not know if there were originally any snakes in ireland, but i do know that the snake has gotten a bad rap from the tale in the book of genesis. as one who works with the power of snake energy, i say, "hail, the snake!"
~rr~
Nope no snakes ever in
Nope no snakes ever in ireland. Some sqay it was just the pagan beleifs or perhaps even the fairy folk that the snakes represented. It was most defintely within refference to the serpent form of SATAN or demons that he was dirivng away. I just think its funny because there arent any snakes... I really dont think Prechristian ireland really had a clue what a snake was honestly.

Great video Baza,
I have an interesting story to tell you offline about what happened 2 days ago on all Snakes Day. I had no idea there would be any correlation or significance until now. Thanks for the synchronicity you totally confirmed what I saw!

Sorry Chen-
but both the tuatha de danann and later the Celts knew full well what snakes are having migrated out of north Africa thru Mesopotamia, central Asia and Europe before arriving in successive waves in the Isles. The wise suggest St.Pat was a plague and poison carrier.
