Are You An Alien? (and so what if you are?)

Not so long ago, I think back in the summer, the Time Monks (Cliff High of Halfpasthuman and George Ure of Urban Survival) mentioned that the predictive linguistics of their web bot project were coming across references to something called the '15 Percenters'. Their take on the data was that there was to be some memeering going on, aimed at that percentage of the population that was beginning to wake up. The idea to be promulgated was that a certain percentage of the population (about 15 percent) was heir to strands of alien DNA within their genomes, present as a result of genetic engineering or some form of hybridization.
Whatever your thoughts on that may be, what's really important is the thrust the Time Monks conjectured for this coming alt media blitz: that those 15 percent were in some senses better than the 85 percent of the normals. Slightly smarter, more sensitive, attuned to wider frequencies of both light and the aethereal (sound familiar?), this extraterrestrially endowed minority are at least in part the descendants of a race more advanced in every way than our own. That's why you've woken up, you see: it's your alien DNA.
You'll notice the immediate tendency this meme has to produce and Us and Them mentality. Is it too incredible to imagine that, once this idea has had a chance to percolate through the more esoteric nodes of the noosphere, those who have accepted it might not be induced into an Us vs Them?
The physical markers of this extraterrestrial genetic treasure? The usual things: blue or green eyes, red hair, possibly white skin (for might not the Aryans be from Ares or possibly Orion?), and let us not forget blood. It is blood that ties families together, and it seems 15 percent of the population share an inexplicable mutation in their blood type.
Now, maybe it's true that some portion of the human species have seen some alien manipulation of their DNA. I for one would almost bet on it. That's what makes this meme (being promulgated right on schedule, amidst a general atmosphere of gathering disclosure) so dangerous: it is based in truth, or at least something that those at whom it is aimed are ready to accept as such. It has the potential to split a movement which is only now coalescing, between those who say 'Yes, so I am better!' and those who merely nod and say 'So we're more different, but no more special'.
If you're open to the idea of prehistoric genetic manipulation you're probably also open to the idea that the manipulators are with us still, in some sense, as the Reptilians of modern folklore. If perhaps over the coming months, as 2010 gathers steam with all its careening weirdness, you find yourself thinking you might have alien DNA ... if you start exploring practices meant to awaken dormant portions of it ... you might want to remember where it came from, and why it was put there in the first place.
Remind yourself that being born human doesn't privilege you above anything else in the biosphere, and that the same is true if you're born more than human: you're still just a part of the whole. Consider too that you're not your body: as David Icke (from whose news page I found the piece on alien blood types) says, we're not human beings having a spiritual experience, we're spiritual beings having a human experience. This is true, again, regardless of the body you inhabit.
And if neither caution nor piety serves to make you think twice, you also might want to consider something else: that evidence for discontinuous jumps in evolution, appearing in the fossil record (and the petri dish) as quantum leaps in genetic structure, may be evidence for something that modern biologists are even more loath to discuss than alien interference: namely, that while DNA's hereditary function might be much as we've been told, it's evolutionary mechanism might be wholly different. The Darwinian paradigm suggests slow, gradual change built upon random mutation and recombination, 'pushing' evolutionary change upwards from lower levels of complexity; the quantum paradigm suggests morphogenetic fields existing as archetypes within a sort of Platonic paratime, in-forming the structure of matter in ever-more-subtle fashion as it 'pulls' evolutionary development forward in time, towards (what else?) union with the God-head.
Looked at through this lens, alien DNA ceases to be so interesting. Yes, so the Reptilian Development Agency of Zeta Reticuli set up a gold mining operation in South Africa three hundred thousand years ago, grabbing some of our unwitting ancestors from their heretofore harmonious lives amidst the trees as Gaia's sentient fingers, messing with their DNA and turning them into good little slaves. Sure. And maybe 50,000 years or so ago the Orions (or was it the Areans?) landed somewhere around Turkey, bringing high material and spiritual technology, as well as ruthlessness and bloodthirst for they conquered empires in every direction. This could all be true, and more to the point it might also be true of the line of descent that leads straight to you.
But so what? Indications are that humanity is due for a DNA upgrade of the cosmic sort and sooner rather than later. The pattern is clear, historically (and in the lab): when a certain genetic sequence becomes necessary for the continuation of the species, it will suddenly and inexplicably (from the point of view of mechanistic Darwinian theory) appear throughout the population. Well, the Earth is in crisis mode right now, and it's global and growing. Exactly the sort of situation in which such a wide scale genetic upgrade is likely to spontaneously download from the archetypal morphogenetic field of the fully realized (but unrealizable) Hu-Man. To me this is far more compelling than the possibility that my genetic code (or yours, or anyone's) might contain codons left by aliens, for in the end regardless of how our ancestors ended up on Space-Timeship Earth we're all here, we're all human, and far outweighing any differences that divide us are the commonalities we share with each other and with everything else, with the biosphere and the flowing implicate order of the cosmos of which every one is a part.

Thank you for sharing this.
Thank you for sharing this. What an incredibly strange prediction. It's a bit weird for me too since I have all those markers (high IQ, psychic sensitivity, red hair, green eyes, pale skin, O- blood type) and it has crossed my mind that I'm not entirely human. My mother remembers interacting with a UFO (with missing time confirmed by others present), although I have no memory of any contact. It's interesting too that some of the markers mentioned are common in the UK and massive DNA databases are being compiled there, more than in other places. That would probably indicate hybridisation rather than evolution, or it could be about something else entirely. I don't know, but it does stand out as strange. Weren't those same characteristics targetted by the Inquisition as the marks of witches? I totally agree that conditions could not be more favourable for an evolutionary leap. Radiation levels probably contribute as well, for good or ill. I'm very excited about this because I know what drives evolution, as do you (not survival, but awareness) and I trust it. I couldn't, personally, subscribe to any us-versus-them ideology. I truly, deeply know that humans are incredibly beautiful and amazing. I've seen that light in the eyes of far too many, way more than 15%. They might not know it's there but I do, and if that amazingness belongs to me it's because I am human as well. If some think and act monstrously, it is because they have been traumatised and manipulated. They were made that way just as Sauron made the Orcs from Elves. I think any genetic alteration or evolution wouldn't be worth much if the ability to recognise this were not part of it. Great blog. Thanks again.

Very Interesting
great job. I'm very excited for more and more information concerning our true origins being revealed in the years ahead.
I encourage people to study
I encourage people to study the issue starting now, rather then wait for it to be presented in popular media as a packaged propaganda whose true and false elements are difficult to separate simply because the whole concept is so new to most of us. right?
