Fear

Fear rules our world. From the level of the individual - motivated to work a job he hates because he fears unemployment, stay with a man she despises because she fears homelessness - to the level of society, where fear of terrorism, disease, or economic instability is used to steer the herd in whatever direction the hungry shepherd and his sheepdogs want, it is fear that forms the underlying basis of almost everything we do (or don't do), say (or don't say), and believe (or don't believe).
I don't expect I have to lecture this crowd much on the spiritual dangers and health detriments of fear. You get this, I'm sure (or most of you do) better than probably 99% of the human tribe. Instead I'd like to take a moment and hold up a mirror for you, for all of you, one shaped like my familiar old hobby-horse, the Conspiracy Theory.
A lot of people here (and not just here) seem to reflexively dismiss any conspiracy theories out of hand. You're well meaning but persist in believing in fables like "CO2 = global warming", when you should "be leaving" all beliefs behind and freeing your mind. You're very open to permaculture, the abuses of the corporatocracy (yet you cringe at any mention of the NWO?), as well as alternative (or as I like to call it 'direct and authentic') spirituality, as well as a hundred other deeply important subjects and themes ... but ... when it comes to the more 'paranoid' sorts of memes you're likely to find in places like this you get all dismissive.
Yes, yes, I know all the 'rational' reasons why conspiracy theories are bunk but I really am deeply disinterested in hearing the rationalizations you present (to yourself and others) as reasoning. And I understand that you want to operate out of love and not fear. 'Conspiracy theories' are founded in fear (right???), so if you look at them you'll be losing hold of that sweet, high vibratory love harmonic and who wants that?
Here's something to think about: when you're opening your chakras and raising your kundalini, if you're familiar with this sort of thing even theoretically I'm sure you've come across the notion that you can't properly open a higher chakra until all the lower ones have been completely cleansed. There's an analogy there which is pretty obvious. Another way of putting this is, do you really think you can lose your illusions about the material world and evolve to a higher plane of consciousness if you can't even lose your illusions about the sociopolitical context in which you were raised?
Now let me turn that around and address a wholly other group.
A lot of you truthers probably figure in a lot of ways you're above fear, for you've managed to master both your own fear of ridicule, along with the paranoid anxiety that accompanies any plummet down the rabbit hole. That's good, that's a really big step in mastering fear but ... how many of you figure the best thing to do is go out into the woods, buy some property in a remote area, grow your own food and stock up on ammo?
You want to tell me that isn't motivated by fear?
The true challenge of being a truther isn't just learning the truth (whatever the hell that is). It's learning all those terrifying things, studying up on the manipulations, deceptions, sabotage, mass poisoning and deliberate cultural pollution that has occurred and is occurring every day, and even though you know these terrible things, carrying on in the face of them. Acknowledging the fear and moving past it.
The political and economic aspects of the Conspiracy are the least of it. At a certain point down the rabbit hole every truther is bound to grapple with the pain-eating interdimensional reptoid meme and yes (ridiculous as it might sound) you will, if you are consistent in your truthing, have to take it seriously, incorporate it into your world view and continue with your life even though you will now have to deal with the notion that beings of incalculable technological sophistication, unfathomable cunning and chilling ruthlessness may well be running the world in which you live. You think running away to the woods and homesteading with a shotgun and cellarful of whiskey (for trading of course) you're going to be able to escape their reach?
Please.
Running is not an option anymore. Not for any of us. There is nowhere to run because the threats we face - and they are very real, and very existential - are everywhere. Now is the time to face our fears, whatever they may be, however mundane or esoteric; time to remember that courage isn't the absence of fear, it's the recognition that some things, like truth, like love, are more important.
(Apologies to the sizable third faction who've already figured this out. Ain't nothing worse than preachin' to the choir....)

"At a certain point down the rabbit hole every truther is bound to grapple with the pain-eating interdimensional reptoid mem"
Hey, what is the interdimensional reptoid mem? I've just never heard this phrase before and I want to know what it means. Is that like the Big Kahuna of truths? =D
I really like how you wrote this. It's interesting, because conspiracy discussions have become more frequent here and elsewhere lately. I don't know - I just think it's funny how people freak out and try to rationalize. Either way, whether they are rationalizing the existence or non-existence of a certain speculation.
I like that word, speculation. And suspicion. And suspension. I think we encounter a lot less problems when we are just speculating. But even then, someone is bound to feel like their bubble has been burst.
People are afraid to ask questions, to find answers, and to think for themselves. I'm no different, it certainly is a struggle. Something to always work at. That's why I don't always ask my questions out loud -- but I can find the answers, at least to put my mind to some sort of ease.
It's funny. Really both sides are not all that different. It's rationalizing either way you go. Unless this is one of those weird cases where irrationalizing is the answer. Haha, but that's another can of worms.
But you're absolutely right, living in the woods all alone is motivated by fear. It's not the best solution if you want to make changes. That's really cool you said that, because it's one of those solutions I think we all are tempted to allow room for... but it's one of those obviously against-the-grain solutions for the exact reasons you described.
What good will that do?
I mean, what's the point of uncovering what you find to be truth if you have no use for it? Living isolated like that just seems like the squandering of everything you've previously uncovered.
I'm disappointed this blog hasn't gotten more responses, because you did a very diplomatic job of addressing everyone. This was what I needed to read today, so thanks and take care =)
okay psyche it's time...
Great blog, always I enjoy reading your work. This blog has driven me over the edge. I have been meaning to write a proper blog highlighting the bulk of conspiracy soft kill and world domination issues. This week I promise to open this can of worms big time. If anyone has any doubt about the scope of enslavement keep an eye out for my next blog. Regarding fear, I feel the most important consideration to remember is that we are GodSelf beings. We stand above all conspiracy and all attacks. There is nothing to fear but fear itself. Peace of mind awaits the individual who can see beyond illusion. The entire illumunati structure is a construct of the ONE. The ONE represents all manifest reality. Death is an illusion people, moreover separation is an illusion. THERE IS ONLY THE ONE>>> There is nothing to hate, nothing to change, nothing to fear. Seek ONENESS, find only love, all else is truly manifest illusion.
Namaste, my brother Psychegram, it is time everyone admits WWIII is NOW.
The Power Is Always Ours
Coincidentally, I have just written a blog about coming out of fear. While the examples I use are much lighter in subject matter, the message is relevant no less. The idea is that we can program our minds and affect the fear equation in our lives...

I'd say this blog is the most important one I've seen here
I've certainly encountered the fear eating reptilian meme even quite early in my researching days. David Icke's "Guide to the Global Conspiracy" was one of the first books I read. it's quite true that if people are really searching for the truth and not blinded by beliefs of what they want to see, they must take it seriously - the idea that humans have been ruled by powerful bloodlines with secret knowledge, and that their tracks a strewn throughout history. If you do the research, there's no question they are adept at using power and deceit to manipulate mass minds.
However, after delving deep into mysticism, perennial philosophy, non-dualism and the like, I've come to a similar conclusion as GodIAm's comment. If everything is truly and ultimately one unified whole, as all the sages and awakened ones have said, and which I deeply and intuitively know, then even the reptilians are acting out the creative force, the divine play. In this light, it makes perfect sense that such a conspiracy would exist. It gives us reason to believe that we are powerless and that our very thoughts are manipulated. One must first believe an illusion if he is to "wake up" from anything. In essence, this is the psychedelic journey - to freak out a little, lose your mind, but if you get through to the other side, you're able to gain a deeper sense of power and will (and freedom). In a sense, the conspiracy is attacking our ego, and if we grasp to it, we will go mad with fear, but if we let it go and step into a deeper sense of identity, of awareness of ultimate cosmic order, there is immense joy and peace in that moment.
Fear is quite necessary. It forces us to confront our limited identity and allows us to open up to a more expansive one. All fear is self fear. The world is a mirror just showing us what we deep down want to and need to see in order to realize our deepest and truest selves as divine, to become whole.
fear as an emotion
To my thinking, fear is just one side of the coin, or just one facet, there being countless facets on 3d coin imprints. By all means, don't get over indulged in any one thing , especially materiality-facets. I like fear defined as a purely- optional emotion, beyond which one (soul) can navigate at will. Choose to navigate beyond! I admit the reptilian theory is newer to me, but actually resonates with an ancient almost-mythology about 'fallen-angels'. About a cataclysmic screw up of a long forgotten history, before major tectonic earth changes, eons ago. About a screwed up age, perhaps sounding something like Atlantis. Even Plato wrote of an Atlantis, which adds a little scholarly flare to it. The fallen angels, according to at least one bold narrative were headed by Satan and Lucifer and did involve other inhabited planets under rebellion. Gets very involved, while the chief remaining effect is indeed more psychologically-hypnotic rather than directly physical. Simpler, ancient writings on this line also resonate, another ancient author's name i vaguely recall was spelled something like Oregen. I haven't focussed on that stuff for decades, (old guy here).
So why should fear 'rule' everything? It makes no sense, except for heedless, bread and circus masses. Perhaps that is the point inferred here. I do admit to using some fragments of fear-emotion to 'push' through lazy moments in time. The coming storm: gotta get a few tasks done quickly. I kinda like that use of fear. It is easily overcome physically, by hand.
Conspiracies? That is the official conclusion of NIST, the gobernment arm who explained 911. The box cutter theory. There is tons of science still to explore, beyond the bread and circus parts. I still prefer Dr Judy Woods website analysis, best of all. Her 'dustification' analysis, hurricane Erin, HAARP applicability, etc... Lots there to study and to ponder. Tons of visual and audio downloads for busy surfers. I don't think she is called a truther per se, as there is in fact a variety of competing science bloggers, concerning 911. No doubt there are also the ever present the shills of various invested interests.

Not much to add to this excellent thread, except for one observation. I've mentioned this elsewhere in different blogs on this site and others, but the root of fear seems to me to be division. Rid the world of the concept of division, and it is fixed. Division is employed in just about every facet of our world, from religion to race, intelligence levels and so forth. GodIam touched on this, too. It's not possible to fear something that is perceived as an extension of self, therefore the problem MUST be in the concepts that divide. No division, no fear.
The more we 'get' this, the more we see the machinations of division failing. Our collective refusal of such nonsense is the catalyst for real change in our world.
Great thread, psychegram.
agreed
the root of the fear seems to lie in division...looking at the world in either black or white, right or wrong, good or bad...taking issues to extreme positions that exclude and do not encompass...and create a them vs us mentality...
if - actually more when - we see through this and overcome it we can rid ourselves of division and following this fear
divisions and binary delinations
We both seem to have had the same response from reading this blog, hence why i posted a link to my blog that is all about the problems that arise from division and certitude. I think you will find it interesting, if a somewht dense.

wow
awesome blog, i've enjoyed reading it and hearing the discussions. but then again, i'm a fan. ;)
i knew some people who were demons, not sure if they were reptiles or not, but that's certainly the sense i got from them. fed off of fear, they did. one night i had a big sleepover on new year's and the people who slept in the room above them woke up in the morning and said "Demons! I dreamt of snakes and demons." Ok, ok, there were 14 snakes in the room with them to be fair (don't ask) but the demons were there as well. at any rate, these people really got me thinking. after knowing them well, i can spot a predator across the room. it's been really helpful to have close communion with these folks, though i admit they nearly killed me a couple of times before i knew what they were about.
at this moment i go through life feeling like a vampire, not in a predatory sense but in the sense that i know something the majority of people do not. i know what that something is, but i cannot describe it with words. i know when someone else has it, though i've rarely encountered my kind outside of evolver. i'm going crazy to meet some of you!
my point is that this thing that I know, it keeps me safe. it subdues the fear, overrides it. i know that i have a place in this bee dance we're all doing and i am confident in following the signs that lead me to where i'm supposed to be. those people in charge, maybe they're reptilian in origin, maybe not. yes, they know things. but they do not know what we know, or they would not be who they are. this thing that we know will save us.

I think another way of
I think another way of putting it is that people tend to confuse fear with the object of their fear. Our first defensive response is to shy away from the reality (object) in order to minimalize the fear. We internalize objects into (irrational) fears and externalize fears into (often mythical) objects.
Fear itself is a feeling that causes a shying away or a retreat from some object. Presumably, an emotion with some evolutionary utility, like the sensation of pain. We tend to have irrational, built in fears for many things, one of them being (interestingly enough) reptiles like snakes.
We might be better off in some situations if we could turn off pain. For a terminal cancer patient, pain serves no biological purpose. Similarly for a slave, fear serves no purpose because one is still in bondage whether or not they have the fear. It is primarily a tool used by the slavemaster for emotional manipulation.
Getting off the grid... I applaud anyone who does it. It should be the normal state of affairs, instead of sucking at the corporate teat. Having a reasonable stockpile of goods related to one's survival, same. I'm not going to judge people who want to be prepared if I don't know them. We're might need most of these things if we win. But retreating to a cabin in the woods with paraphenalia and waiting for TEOFTWAWKI? A bit too far in my opinion. There are more or less grey areas here between those extremes.
As for me, I've got my own conspiracy theorist fantasies. I'd like to build a hobbit hole impervious to nuclear attack, complete with internet connection, maybe some solar panels or preferably geothermal, and humanure toilet (the house will be centered around the toilet, not the other way around). Not in the wilderness but in a corner somewhere at least near a town or something. WITH A 40 INCH PLASMA TELEVISION WHERE I CAN WATCH TEOTFWAWAKI IN HI DEF GLORY!!!!
oh yeah saving up my pennies
Cheers

I'm pickin up and running
Go down to Haiti and help people find their loved ones, get out there, go to Africa and show people how to live sustainably, there's no restrictions there. This thing is wide open right now. It's, "ours for the takin"
So take it, I say. There's a bright future if you do. spend time learning, rather than fearing. My big mistake when I got into Conspiracy theory was to go in and believe everything, and not understand that I wasn't going to get chased by the FBI for thinking that the illuminati is real, or knowing about 9/11 truth and speaking my mind about it. This kind of thinking was shit brained, in hindsight. This is tinfoil hat thinking. Nevertheless, it was the gateway to enlightenment for me. I now wonder if there is another way than through paranoia, because that's a pretty shitty cornerstone to model the rest of my building off of. Hope you can be more creative, or more mature than I was, if you look into this stuff.
I always recommend people stay away from Alex Jones if you like your heart rate the way it is, thank ya very much. Freeman TV is something special, out of Southern Texas. Terrance McKenna is very cool. Bill Hicks is the man for comedy, in this realm. I also like MIchael Tsarion. And I think Ian Xel Lungbolds 3 hour introduction to the Mayan Calender is an important first step to understanding.
love you all
