Kundalini Energy and the 4 States of Sexual Love

My understanding of Tantric practices/principles has been accelerated greatly in the last couple of months thanks to the Sacred Union Meet Up with Reena Desai and my www.TantraGlow.com instructor Rhoda Jordan.

I’m learning to find, cultivate, unleash, and control Kundalini energy. I’ve experienced it powerfully in altered states and feel that it’s the east Indian equivalent of what is known as Chi in martial arts. In Tantric, yogic, and various martial arts disciplines, tapping into and directing interdimensional energy is a high goal of the practice. Shamanistically this can be used for magical manifestation of desired future events, healing, sexual ascension, combat, etc. It’s like being able to plug yourself into a cosmic jack and have your energy, intentions, visions, etc. amplified and electrified. Manowar’s wall of Marshall stacks are about the only amplifiers of power that come close.

In a recent Meet-Up, Master Perun of UniverSynergyArts (a Siberian spiritual warrior school) shared a really powerful schematic of the states of sexual connection in relationships in the context of Kundalini access and flow. I’m going to paraphrase and explain in own words below:

-Passionate

-Mechanical

-Flourishing

-Transformative

We all fall in love and start out in the passionate state. Romance is easy and abundant, love-making is passionate, wild, and ecstatic. Attention is fully present, there is magic, and the presence of glowing energy is perceived powerfully. If you had Kundalini glasses on, you’d probably see the energy rising, but then quickly scattering everywhere, and dissipating. Within a few weeks or maybe months if you’re lucky, if it hasn’t been carefully sustained, cultivated, understood, developed, directed, harvested, etc. it disappears. The universal, “come down” from the love high happens and if you and your lover aren’t masters of sacred sexuality, you’ll most likely crash into the mechanical state.....

In the mechanical state, there’s still love making, though less frequently and devoid of spirit and energy. It becomes repetitive, mundane, routine, etc. For many American couples, this state continues until the rate of sexual activity drops practically to zero and stays numbed and deadened for the rest of their time together.

If you’re lucky or skilled enough to know how to maintain the spark of passion, romance, curiosity, creativity, freshness, novelty, fun, excitement, etc. you may find yourself in the flourishing state. If the love making is flourishing than you’re a happy and healthy couple that will be orgasmic together until death due you part. You don’t see a lot of these healthy, vibrant, energetic, smitten 70 year olds skipping around the super market together in America.

The final state beyond flourishing is where the real magic and power of Kundalini comes in. In the transformative state, because you’ve successfully managed to effectively love one-another enough to keep the fire burning, you can know apply sex magic to transform yourself, your life, and external reality in shamanistic ways. With the perfected union of mind, body, and spirit shared between lovers, you can then cultivate Kundalini energy and use it as source of energizing power for magical intent.

What is magic, quite simply willing something to happen. What’s your will, it’s your desire made into neuro-linguistic words and images held in the mind. If I want a pink elephant to appear in the middle of the room, I first have to create the image of it there as I want it, then state my intention linguistically for it to be so (I believe it’s possible at higher-levels being and can be practiced in dreams).

Whether or not you believe that your mind is a morphogenerator (creator of physical forms) doesn’t matter because even if you don’t believe that you are a god with the power to alter internal and external reality with your thoughts, on a purely skeptical level, by clearly stating your vision and verbalizing your intent, you activate scientifically measurable processes in your brain/body that direct your entire being to follow your will to the best of it’s ability. So you can be skeptic and believe that the universe has no programmability, and rest assured that at least your body/brain is 100% programmable.

So now that the fundamentals of magic have been laided out, let’s consider that your will, or magical intent, or vision, or prayer, or whatever is like a magnet. Kundalini energy makes it an electro magnet.

It’s that simple.

Kundalini can also simply be thought of as Earth energy. If we open our bodies to receive the magical power of the Earth, we can empower ourselves with it.

The specific techniques and practices to access, cultivate, control, direct Kundalini are many but they all share a few common elements including: focus, presence, deep breathing, altered states. It makes sense that dance, yoga, and martial arts are so effective, but the most powerful circuitry is that which is involved in sexual intercourse.

So if you’re single and just bouncing from one shallow yet exciting lay to the next, or you’re in a relationship that’s boring, you may want to start studying this stuff if you want to have more fun, better sex, and a more energized, magical, and mystical life.

Sri Ramana Maharshi maintained that the Kundalini energy is nothing but the natural energy of the Self, where Self is the universal consciousness (Paramatma) present in every being, and that the individual mind of thoughts cloaks this natural energy from unadulterated expression. Advaita teaches that Self-realization, enlightenment, God-consciousness, nirvana and Kundalini awakening are all the same thing, and self-inquiry meditation is considered a very natural and simple means of reaching this goal.[7]....
Yoga and Tantra propose that this energy can be "awakened" by Guru, but body and spirit must be prepared by yogic austerities such as pranayama, or breath control, physical exercises, visualization, and chanting.....
