The World Turned Upside Down
Raf

Landshare, a website started by UK television chef Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall, connects unused land with gardeners and encourages self-sufficiency. It is a project where the material and spiritual intersect, building skills that could prove utterly necessary in the hard times ahead.

Piracy on the High Cyber Seas

I wrote this article some time ago and then completely forgot about it, so some if it is less current than it might have been. However, I feel the issues it raises continue to be of relevance so I thought I would share.

About Me

Bio

After experimenting with a number of different projects and with varying degrees of success, i'm begininning on the path to becoming an English language teacher abroad. I hope for this to be a path that moves me towards achieving a more holistic, earthed and proactive existence. I learn more about myself and this world everyday through thought, exeperience and my thirst for more knowledge and communication. One of the greatest loves in my life is music and i play some instruments (always self taught). I'm trying to learn more music theory as well and listen to a wide variety of things from metal to jazz to blues to hip hop to folk and anything that really moves me or inspires me. I try and write, but this doesn't always work out! i lack discpiline and try to write everything from novels, to scripts, to essays and articles and a heavy measure of lyrics/poems/spoken word stuff. I am guilty of abandoning writing for long periods though! who knows, maybe it will all come out one day!
