om namo narayan: my introduction

I'm new to this site as a blogger, basically new to blogging in general, although I've been spilling my guts through ink on notebook pages since I was able to write.
I'm hoping to use this space as a venue to express my thoughts regarding some philosophical questions that have been in the back of my mind since childhood, specifically in regards to how we relate to the world around us and that it is how we relate (and thus communicate with one another) which determines whether we participate in the world as competitors or collaborators.
I prefer the later. And I imagine most of you participating in this site do as well.
om namo narayan, to you all.
But before I begin, first let's run through some basic concepts, specifically regarding my alias:
relativelyLocal.... but what does that mean?
consider this...
rel·a·tive·ly adv
- in comparison with other things
lo·cal adj
-relating to, situated in, or providing a service for a particular area
-typical of, or only found in, a particular area
-performed, processed, or transmitted within the same computer or one in a readily accessible network
lo·cal n
-somebody who lives in a particular area, was born there, or has lived there for a long time
-a train or bus that stops at all the stations or stops on the route
-a local branch or office
glob·al adj
-relating to or happening throughout the whole world
-taking all the different aspects of a situation into account
-covering or affecting the whole of a computer system, program, or file
That being said,
…local is a relative term. That to which wherever you have access, is indeed local.
Considering we now live in world where things that are global are locally accessible (albeit though technology driven connectivity), for me that poses one major question:
How does this change the relativity between us?
-------------------------------------------------------
Most of my endeavors are with the commitment and intention to empower others to explore and share personal stories and ideas, to move beyond merely seeing differences and towards acknowledging commonalities, in the pursuit of transcending both geographical and cultural boundaries. I aspire to experience the oneness we share, and allow this to affect the way I relate to the world (and others) around me.
relativelyLocal is the creative multimedia endeavors and undertakings of Nicole Jaquis and various collaborators within the communities she travels. Currently she is in North India.

Give it a shot
Relatively Local - relative only to the locale at the expense of more expanded consciousness
Relative - in relation to ... all are of same Quantum zero point field state of "spirit"
hence re-act / re-late .. as in relay ... to each other how this is so ... hence revelation
Local .. if one traces back to Sanskrit origins of syllabus Lo - would refer to "area of like-ability" .. Cale .. the calibration of the associated premise of affection ... the more one's consciousness expands the greater their locale.
Globe ... relative to shape mostly .. where as "World" is more conceptually complete .. one's world is as big as one's conception. .. worlds within worlds ...
