Whenever I visit the site of Kilcrea Abbey & castle Co. Cork Ireland, I wonder about the lives of the people who lived there 500 years ago. At the start of this film Terrence McKenna is speaking about the Rig Veda of ancient Hinduism. Apparently a lot of old knowledge has been lost in India. He goes on to talk about the book burning at the Alexandria library. The Vedics, like the Gnostics of Europe developed an advanced pagan belief structure. To this day tuned in people still pay attention to pagan practices like being careful not to develop property that the ancients thought to be sacred. Dragon Lines and Morphogenetic fields are terms used today to describe energies that the Celts and Gnostics were well aware of.
Certain places like water wells and Fairy Paths hold special healing properties and are recognised as places to be respected. There is a Fairy Ring (or Fort) near Kilcrea Abbey and I'm sure if you research deeply enough the placement of this Abbey and castle is in alignment with this Fairy Fort. In a podcast I recorded recently I suggested that there is a 'Fairy Path' traveling from this area to another fort, nearby on Lee Valley Golf Club. Historical Irish figure Hugh O'Neill actually marched his army along this trail on the way to The Battle of Kinsale (Circa 1602). Taking this route ensured his men were walking a holy path. O'Neill lost the battle of course, which led to the 'Flight of the Earls' and the Ireland of the high kings and druids was also lost.
This place is near where I grew up, was also burned (by Cromwell's forces). Who knows what knowledge was lost during this process. There are parallels, I think between ancient Celtic, Hindu & other cultures. Maybe the early Christian monks that lived at this friary, were closer to an ancient an shamanic existence than we’d normally consider. The Roman Empire didn't spread to Scotland or Ireland, these regions remained under the ancient system of high kings, druids & a form of shamanism. Druids were seen as essentially non-Roman: a prescript of the emporer Augustus forbade Roman citizens to practice "druidical" rites. So it wasn't until Cromwell's time that these places like Kilcrea Abbey were finally assimilated into mainstream religion.
As Christianity spread across Europe, they captured the cities first & some commentators maintain the cities became Roman strongholds, while the countryside remained largely pagan. That is until television in the 1950's argueabely put a pulpit in every home. Let me also put forward the notion that old shamanic cultures at these important sites were connected in some way. Some New Age material suggests that within the Kingdom of Atlantis, there existed advanced technologies. Old people knew about this but it's all mixed up with folklore & legend which most people completely disregard. It wasn't till we got organised by religion then science that folklore became another word for fiction. The Catholics & all organized religions, were & still are a means of influencing large numbers of people. Of course the pagans didn't know it as folklore, no because of the fact that ancient people (rural people especially) were unaware of the reality model handed down by The Romans, these apparent fairytales were a part of life, facts.
Let me finish by proposing that these technologies allowed the Celts, the Native Americans, the Mayans, the Egyptians & the people of Tibet to run organised tribal societies, which existed in harmony with the planet over massive spans of time. I also believe that Kilcrea Friary, like the fairy forts, stone circles & cathedrals are built upon Ley Lines. My research has uncovered evidence that these places appear to be on a grid of some description. Is it possible that the consciousness of tuned in people is different while at these holy places? Men of science won’t agree but I’m more than happy to reply to any comments or messages I receive.
