A message from the ancestors

I’m doing this segment backwards, probably because I’m a terrible messenger.

After finding the courage to write and getting an amazing support from my wife, family and friends (also great feedback from the online community), I was able to came out with the words to describe a series of various accounts from my first yagé (ayaguasca) experience in Colombia last year in August.

The experience lasted for three days, but at the end, I felt like it was an entire month since I trespassed the conventional mindset of time and space.

I also noticed that I had to battle often with doubt -- What are people going to think about all this nonsense? …and grappling with to whom I’ll be able to tell these experiences, and so on.

Then I realized something very important was missing and I remembered it re-reading my previous blogs. So here I go again one more time.

Yagé (ayaguasca) gives us the opportunity to reconnect with our origins and our ancestors. We go back to encounter Mother Earth, our true soul and the knowledge of the universe that keeps everything in harmony. Once we are in contact with that force, our spirits begin to free itself and heal wherever is unbalanced in all the physical, spiritual and emotional levels.

Yagé gives us the opportunity to see life with a different set of eyes, with kindness, serenity and the calmness of a warrior that knows perfectly that he won’t give up under any circumstances and will fight until his last breath.

More importantly yagé brings us the messages from the ancestors (from Amazon jungles). The message is loud and clear as I mentioned on the first article:

"An ancestor came to me and said, Mother Earth is dying at a colossal speed. We need your help. Please help us."

The ancestors want to give us the chance, but not without our commitment to save our planet and help it to be reborn again, so the sons of our sons will also have the opportunity and the responsibility to enjoy the blue planet that is just a speck of dust floating in the vast universe.

In the next article, I’ll describe the place the ancestors call the Library of the Universe -- also known to many people as the Akashic records. This time I’m using an illustration to represent the magnificent place and will introduce more dialogs with the ancestors.
