I am going to Peru this summer for about 3 weeks. I will be goin to Iquitos and then out into the Amazon...then to Cusco and the Inca Trail to Machu Pichu...then to Lake titicaca at some point.
I was just wondering if anyone has any experience or tips they would share w/ me....also any tips on ayauasca would be appreciated.

thanks

coca

drink lots of coca tea and buy a bag of coca leaves to chew. this will help with the altitude. you must be very brave to take ayahuasca, for anything could happen in your internal world. maybe try san pedro, as it is gentle but expansive. message me if you want more information. i have traveled extensively in the sacred valley.

The temple of the way of light

I love Iquitos! Even with it's masses of stinky motocarros. The people are open and friendly. The funny things is that Ayahuasca is as normal in Iquitos as Macdonalds in the rest of the world. I stayed in the Temple of the way of light where I had stunningly beautiful and intens Ayahuasca experiences. http://www.templeofthewayoflight.org which is about 1.5 h outside Iquitos. It is one of the best places as I consider it: filled with divinity , love and personal care. The ceremonies at the Temple are with several shaman women and men (in the ceremonies I attained about five!). It was a most amazing experience. Gogogo =)
