Wake Up, Project

I recently got into a conversation with a new friend about hidden messages in Disney cartoons. He showed me a few clips from the documentary, "The Arrivals". While camping over the weekend with some close friends, the subject came up again and I mentioned the doc. After making the choice to share it with others, I then made the choice to watch the whole film.

Does Evolution = Martyrdom ?

I can't count the number of conversations I have had with my husband regarding changes that need to be made in our (okay, MY) lifestyle in order to make life better for our soon-to-be-born child and thus, for the world. I understand his ideas and the goals behind them, but I can't help feeling like I will have to become a martyr for the cause.

First Blog: With the Blinders On

I've recently discovered that for many, many years, I have been guilty of going through life with the blinders on. I have watched too much television. I have shopped mainly in the middle isles of the grocery store. I have taken medicine without questioning why. I have put far too much trust in others to tell me what is right and healthy. I have done this because mostly everyone else does this.
