Carlita lives and works in Ecuador as an Ecologist although she is originally from the UK, she focuses on Rainforest Conservation, Advocacy Journalism, Painting and works as a Hypnotherapist and Qigong Practitioner. She founded Evolve to Ecology, a foundation based in Ecuador for Rainforest Conservation and protection of indigenous people and promotion of Sustainable living. Carlita loves latin America, having lived in the Guatemalan Highlands where she taught Ecology. At a time capitalistic imperialism is manufacturing a global monoculture therefore bleaching out ancient indigenous cultures, Carlita believes it is important to work towards the preservation of indigenous people, their languages and their ancestry, this is a passion deeply reflected in her art work.
