Could it be that many crop circle designs are due to the firing of an aerial military microwave cannon, piloted by computer?

IcerocketCrop circles are a mystery that I am curious about. Recently, I have been considering the possibility that perhaps military or commercial satellites, equipped with some sort of microwave or other similar technology, may have created many of the non-hoaxed designs. I have no idea why they would do that but that doesn't mean they would not have a reason. Stranger things have been known to happen. This morning I found an article that explores the microwave-satellite hypothesis. I’d be interested in knowing your thoughts.

But what if that technology the military is using was instead reverse engineered from what ET uses to make the crop circles? I just can't imagine why the military or any branch of government would have an interest in making crop circles, much less coming up with the phenomenon.

I read about this theory more than ten years ago and it makes a lot of sense. The author pointed out that the designs keep getting more complex and precise, which demonstrate increasingly better calibration. He also described how the straw breaks, which would indicate some kind of microwave imprint. His final point is that they often are near military bases. The use, I suspect, would be to pinpoint electronic targets (or people even?) to fry them without cause other damage. Hmmm. You gotta love the Pentagon geniuses!

Interesting. I hadn't heard about the discovery of a burst bird in a crop circle (I wonder what kind of bird it was?) - and the whole microwave thing in general is very intriguing.
A possibly ludicrous idea I've been mulling over since reading Salma's link: If the military is indeed creating the crop circles then we might say that Gaia-Sophia, the Soul of the World, using the military as an adequate instrument, seems to be self-harming. Its said that humans self-harm because they can't articulate a deep distress. Gaia is carving homemade esoteric tattoos in her skin, in a place were she has been worshipped most intensely (neo/meso-lithic britain?) and those tattoos, improving through time, ever more skillfully articulate her deepest concerns and obsessions.

The military dudes riding the microwaves think they are weaving cool freaky shit into the fields, but maybe within the beam of their bravado Gaia-Sophia is weeping, quietly guiding their hands.
