This World is Real

This world is real. Pain hurts, pleasure feels great. Right now, while we are alive, while we have the spark of LIFE within us, animating us, we are powerful, we are real and we are creation. How have we fallen for the idea that death is any more real than life? Perhaps they are both equally real. What if death is really the end and we become unreal, dissolved, absorbed by some greater power that has been the source of our life and our conscious awareness of that life? What if we don't, does that make this life any less real than our next stage of existence?

Why would we allow other humans to take from us, oppress us, dictate to us how we should live, promising us that this life doesn't count and building our hopes and dreams for some vague future promise of liberation? Well, this life sure counts for them ( the oppressors, the priests the lawmakers) why is that? Why don't they believe the mental garbage they feed us and why do so many fall for it?

Why would what we experience after the death of the body, if we do at all, be any more real than what we experience in this incarnation, in this form of our consciousness? Because someone said so? What was their motivation? Was it to relieve suffering perhaps? Does that make it true or was it simply a tool to get people to accept lack and suffering and inequality? How can we know for sure? Yet we put so much faith into the future, instead of into today, this moment, which is all we really have.

What is real? It has been said that there is no objective reality, so if that is the case than nothing is any more real than anything else, which could mean that this life is as real as anything else that we may encounter.

Tell any starving, cold and victimized human being, that their lives are not real, that their pain is only an illusion and see if it helps them. See if their pain disappears. See if it matters to them. See if their bodies stop needing food, shelter, and the warmth of another. See if their lack of money, which stops them from having what they need, becomes a non-issue, because it is just an illusion.

Do any of us know what happens after death of the physical body? How is that any more real than this? Do you know for sure by your very own experience; or do you just believe what some guru said? What is not an illusion? Even in death, if we survive somehow to understand, comprehend, maintain some sort of awareness of where we are and what is happening to our consciousness, is that real or is it a matter of what we've shaped in this earthly existence? Is the illusion that we've created in this lifetime of who we are more real after death than it is in this lifetime? If everything is an illusion, is anything an illusion?
