The 10 Minute Club

The Ten Minute Club is a virtual club my friend, David Margolis, and I developed. It serves to support people who meditate and people who want to meditate. It is very simple: Meditate for ten minutes a day. If you miss a day, you are out of the club, but all you have to do to be fully reinstated is meditate for ten minutes.

If Sad, Be Sadness Buddha

Meditators: We practice no matter what. I asked a meditation instructor what drew him to the practice and he said there was a time in his life when he was in a very painful relationship and the cushion was the only place he found and real sanity. That always stuck with me, real sanity.

shamans and industrialized medicine

Shamans, like everyone else, live in this world and are part of it. We are permeable and share karma with all other beings. It seems that the more we are in the world, the more worldly diseases we get. Shamans who don't spend time in the industrialized world don't get as many industrialized diseases.

About Me

Bio

Healer and Teacher of Contemplative Shamanism, Meditation, and Buddhism.

Skills and talents
It is my purpose to help people awaken and heal. I lead shamanic ceremonies for healing and celebration and conduct classes and private healing sessions at my institute in Providence, RI. The work we do at PI helps people remember who and what they truly are: interdependent, interrelated, part of the living natural world, and fundamentally pure beyond time and space. We help people have transcendent experiences through a variety of practice and study methods that have a contemplative, shamanic basis. There is an emphasis on community support and integration of the work so that it is relevant and grounded.
