My next big transformation commitment will be for 40 days. This is inspired by my dear friend, Heather Noell, and it will include her program "Effortless Transformation" (http://www.aspaceoflove.com/DT40-days.html) The point of blogging my experience is to be able to reflect on my growth, see reflections and also to be a mirror/example for people, should they want to create the experience of what I am feeling. In addition to this program, I am going to be sharing everything I eat and what my exercises consist of. I have long desired to incorporate a daily meditation in my life so that is exactly what I am committing to now as well.
All of this is hand written as well in my personal journal. I feel that its powerful to see it in my own hand writing. Also convenient if I am out and about and an inspiration comes to me.
Effortless Transformation: Day One
I intend to work with this program for 40 consecutive days.
I intend to give up self criticism and be positive (no complaining)
I intend to work with some portion of the Silent Language CD daily and apply what I am learning
I intend to have fun!
Write in your journal one thing you can do to improve your life today.
Clean up my physical surroundings
Then list the benefits that you could experience over the next 40 days.
Embrace and release my procrastination
Well Being
Prosperity
Trust & surrender into my excitement (I finally know what it is! Yeah!)
Ecstasy without reason
Self worth being full and complete
Gratitude Journal
Write down 3 people who've 'rekindled a spark' in you, and what you appreciate about them. Imagine yourself sending love and appreciation to them as you write. Really feel it!!
Meditation
I did my meditation for the length of the Toning Meditations track. After my workout, I sat quietly in the group exercise room and hummed, silently chanting "I am willing to be at peace". I then took that energy into the sauna with me. Ineffable peace became me, however I did then create that my body was extremely dehydrated. I haven't assigned a belief system to the synchro, so I choose to stay neutral to it.
Giving
Share a kind, encouraging word - with a stranger!
I sat and talked with a quiet stranger named Andrew. We shared our stories of saving our dogs from shelters, he showed me his art (picture phone). We talked for a good half hour about his art, his story, traveling and my work. It was an honor to talk so easily with him, especially since he shared his experience of anxiety and panic attacks.
Sarah's Exercise
Half mile run, 5 minute stretch, another mile run while listening to 'Affirmations for Runners'. Hand weights - 4 reps of 15. Abdominal - 4 reps of 20. Leg presses - 4 reps of 15. Cardio hoop dance in the group exercise room for about 10 minutes. This is when I noticed that I may have been overdoing it. My body is still healing from my weekend of illness.
What did Sarah eat today?
Morning: Liquid Smoke (*Water, Shilajit and MSM)
Lunch: Juice - Cucumber, Celery, Green Apple, Ginger, Red Beet, Lime
Dinner: Portabella Mushroom Gyro and salad with cherry tomatoes and kalamata olives
A note on how I felt throughout my day in regard to food. I felt fantastic all day until I ate the portabella mushroom gyro. It sent me into a hazy ungrounded feeling, and I was quite nauseous. I started to feel better at 3:00am when I woke up to purge again. It looks like energetically, the intention I set forth to keep as close as possible to living foods came up to rumble when I strayed! Lol I can really only laugh at this last weekend, because in retrospect, I see exactly what is going on here. What a relief to have clarity!
