After over a week without my Facebook page, I finally got an email last night from the Facebook Help Center that my account was reactivated and I could submit an email to restart it. When I logged into the account I got about 10 messages sitting in my inbox from people like me who were deleted and looking for help many of them found these blog posts in Google. I hope that more people make their way here to find this information. I hope that what I am offering helps anyone who has gone through this nightmare.

It is important to remember to stay calm and not panic. Facebook will respond to you eventually if you are not in violation.

[Here is what the email from Facebook is said:
Hi Sati,

Your account has been suspended because you were an admin of a group that has been removed for violating Facebook's Statement of Rights and Responsibilities. Groups that include drug use, nudity, or other graphic or sexually suggestive content are not allowed, nor are groups that depict violence or that attack an individual or group of people.

Unfortunately, for technical and security reasons we are unable to provide further information about the removed group. However, after reviewing your situation, we have reactivated your account, and you should now be able to log in.

In order to prevent this from happening in the future, please be sure to occasionally review the content of any groups for which you are an admin. If you do not wish to have this responsibility, you can remove your admin status by clicking the "Edit Group Members" link on the group's main page, and then clicking "Remove Admin" next to your name.

For more information on conduct prohibited by Facebook, please read our Statement of Rights and Responsibilities, which can be accessed by clicking on the "Terms" link at the bottom of any Facebook page.

Thanks for your understanding,

Madeline

I only admin 1 group called Kundalini Yoga Philadelphia and that seems to be up and running no problem, so I have no idea what they are talking about.

Here are the steps that I took to get my account reactivated:
1) I sent emails to the Facebook email accounts: disabled@facebook.com and appeals@facebook.com. I was told that it is good to write in daily a very nice email not attacking and just pleading your case with very calm rational words. I sent them one email per day.
2) I went onto Mark Zuckerberg (Facebooks owner) Facebook page and he has created a discussion group called ‘disabled account’ here I commented him once per day. I also commented his pictures and wall posts daily with very nice uniform messages about my situation.
3) I went on to Facebook’s facebook page and commented them daily on their wall posts, and I created a discussion group on their page concerning my issue. I also commented their pictures etc.
4) I went onto Facebook Security and commented them like crazy with my message. I found one page where it was talking about my specific issue. I sent them comments.

I have no idea what got me restored. It usually takes 3 weeks from what I understand. I did know for sure that I had done nothing to warrant my deletion which was why I was so relentless. If you suspect that you have done something which would warrant your deletion these steps might not make as much sense. It will be pointless to harass Facebook if you have caused your deletion because they will most likely not restore your account. I have read that if you were using a bot or if you were in violation the best thing to do is to tell them the truth about it right away and apologize stating that you will not do it again. It won’t help to lie about it.

I hope that these blogs help anyone who has been removed from Facebook. From what I have now read there are many accounts which do not get restored, these are the accounts that were disabled because of the apps like Mafia Wars. If you are playing that it is probably best to stop. Many of the people I encountered were deleted because of this type of application.

Most people who were not in violation seem to be restored in between 1 and 3 weeks. If you have sent in your emails, just wait. They will respond to you. It might just take awhile, and it was nice to be parient. Just sit quietly and breathe, if it is meant to be you will be reactivated very soon like I was.
