This intelligent piece should be common knowledge. Psychedelics make unfathomably great tools for healing and positively transforming a person.

Beyond the brain

About 4 years ago I purchase the Grof book, beyond the brain in the gift shop at Alex Grey's NY gallery.
The book among other things lays down the argument that science is bound by it blindness...so to speak....in other words scientists either consciously or unconsciously select what is worthy to study, they select what is true about nature and the world and even to an extent what is deemed worthy to perceive, and are locked into an entire scientific paradigm that prevents a lot of progress.
Grof talks about shifting the scientific paradigm to be more current with human evolution.........
anyway he seems like a wonderful man and a brilliant scientific mind, I hope that some of the kids growing up today will eventually grow up to continue where he stops.

i just found grof this year and now have The Art of Self Discovery and
LSD Psychotherapy (The Healing Potential Potential of Psychedelic Medicine) ...stumbled across both in great book stores... i'd been on a hiatus for a while and am now preparing for my next journey. what a wealth of knowledge and guidance!
thanks for posting this great quote...i think i heard this sampled on a psytrance track a little while back...now i know where it came from :)
