I just had three wasps come and remove one of my biggest moles with their pinchers!
I was sitting in the yard writing, with a number of wasps coming and going, when one lands upon this mole just off my right nipple and starts to bite. It hurt, but I was also ready to see what it was doing.
It proceeded to bite the skin directly at the base of the mole, and then underneath it, clearly taking it off about 4/5ths of the way. Then, it flew off.
So, I began asking the wasps to come and finish the job, seeing as they went about it so neatly, and waited for them until I was finished the little piece of writing. When none had come, I removed myself the majority of this mole which was just hanging.
Soon as I did that, some more wasps came about, and I lured one back to the spot with the blood on my finger. Then I realized this is what their interest was. I watched as the second wasp drank up in the wound, without much biting at all, and then flew off. So, the thought now was that they were here for the blood, and hadn't been interested to clearly take off the mole.
A third one was flying around though, so I brought it to the spot as well, hoping to have this job finished. And this third one began the biting around the little 1/5th of the mole remaining, and only started to have a drink after this piece was almost entirely taken off. He flew off, and the last little bit came off easy with my fingers.
So, it is true... Nature Heals ~*~
