Hello,

I am a teacher in Colorado and was inspired by 2012: Time for Change. I am also participating in an educational experiment known as a MOOC (Massive Open Online Course). The link to the course is http://change.mooc.ca/. The course is mostly based in educational technology. However, I think creating this style of international event focused on educating and empowering people to change perceptions of what is possible could start to tip the scales toward involvement.

Though movies such as 2012: Time for Change are great ways to share knowledge. It lacks the ownership needed by each participant. Experts could share processes that the common person can implement for low cost solutions to common problems.
