Marti Spiegelman MFA brings nearly four decades of specialized training in shamanic traditions and related fields to her current work as a training professional, mentor, speaker, and founder and host of Awakening Valueâ„¢: Shamanic Technologies of Consciousness and Success on the VoiceAmericaâ„¢ Web Radio Network.

Marti holds a BA in biochemistry from Harvard University and an MFA in graphic design from the Yale School of Art and Architecture. She has advanced training in visionary craniosacral work, psychology, anthropology, and neurophysiology. Marti is a Courtney-Smith-trained trader of stocks, options, and Forex, and she is a valued instructional leader at the Investment Mentoring Institute in Southern California. Additionally, Marti was named the 2010 Cambridge Registry Executive Professional of the Year.

Marti’s interest in the evolution of consciousness springs from her scientific background combined with the powerful teachings of indigenous shamans and diviners on four continents including the Arctic, South America, Nepal, Africa, and Siberia. Her shamanic training has occurred primarily in private mentor relationships and initiations with indigenous shamans. Marti’s insights into shamanic technologies, the related miracles of neurobiology, and our human capacity to create and evolve provide the inspiration for the discussions she leads in her own training programs and in talks around the world.

Marti is founder of Shaman’s Light™, a professional training program dedicated to the evolution of consciousness and the creation of abundance through passion-based work. She is a member of the board for the Andean Research Institute, a founding member of the Alaska Conservation Foundation Bay Area Council, a member of the Foundation for Shamanic Studies, and a member of the Society of Shamanic Practitioners.

Through Shaman’s Light ™, Marti realized that the principles of conscious evolution – shamanic technologies of awareness – comprise the same wisdom base underlying skillful trading practices, intelligent money management, profitable business, and sound environmental and civic policies. To share this insight, Marti developed highly respected coursework revealing the principles of consciousness underlying enduring success in business, philanthropy, community development, and environmental action based on both indigenous and modern expressions of these principles. She assists others in finding their true passion, and putting it to work creating abundance in all its forms. Her work is devoted to helping leaders in our culture come awake via the principles of consciousness and restore their businesses as powerful centers of creation, exchange, and distribution of value for the greater good.
