"It's no one's fault.
It's just how the energy flows."

And in that wisdom I saw the innocence of everything, even the demons, even what is "evil." The demons are just collections of energy. Why are they there? Because that's how the energy flowed. It flowed and created them. Why did I do mean things? Because that is just how the energy flowed. It is the Tao. It is the unstoppable possibilities. And through that flow I find myself, experience myself as everything. It is the spill of the big bang, this flow. It is the same moment as the big bang and my actions are just continuations of the action to create the universe, there's really no pause at all.

It's interesting, that phrase, "no use crying over spilled milk." Milk is something that animals use to nurse their young, to nourish Potential into Being. Perhaps I am crying over the way things could have grown to be, had the Tao not tipped over the milk. But in the end, in a reality of infinite dimensions, there is always a chance for redemption. There is always a new life.

And upon this oasis,

there is always a creature or two that the milk will nourish.

Thanks for this post. I heart the Tao.

Jacob

The sage has no mind of his own.
He is aware of the need of others.

I am good to people who are good.
I am also good to people who are not good.
Because Virtue is goodness.
I have faith in people who are faithful.
I also have faith in people who are not faithful.
Because Virtue is faithfulness.

The sage is shy and humble - to the world he seems confusing.
Men look to him and listen.
He behaves like a little child.
