All of us in some way or another can feel a change. It's happening at all levels; culturally, politically, economically and spiritually. Yet, on an even more subtle level we are in the throes of a consciousness evolution. It’s that indescribable something that is calling to us to accept the inevitable truth. The inevitable truth being that we are not a static specie we are and always will be in a state of evolution through what Brian Swimme refers to in the DVD, The Powers of the Universe, as creative emergence. We are being orchestrated, by this unknown force, which is intricately connected to us. This indescribable cosmic force is calling us to become more of who we are. Like a butterfly we are emerging from a chrysalis state and transformed from a worm to a butterfly. If we can but allow this transformation to peel back layer upon layer of social and cultural conditioning we will be able to be present at the birth of our intended selves.

In this video astrophysicist and mathematical cosmologist, Brian Swimme, talks about our current moment and introduces 4 evolutionary "qualities" that can help humanity find it's way forward. If you are not familiar with Brian Swimme I encourage you to listen to more of these videos as he has a very poetic and easily understood way of communicating very complex ideas.

Very cool!

I especially liked his point on designing our economy out of the greater planetary ecology. I will watch the whole series now.

Thanks

Thanks for your comment

I'm new to Evolver by just a day or two and I appreciate your comment. I discovered Brian Swimme about 9 months ago when I watched a DVD of his called "The Powers of the Universe." His soft, poetic, storytelling approach to very complex ideas and theories makes his delivery very listener friendly. It's funny that you were my first comment since I was just reading and catching up on your blogs last night. I love catching synchronistic events and I feel that was one of them. In fact, I've been logging them in my journal for observational research for a book I've been writing. I noticed in your bio that you are also a writer but you can tell that in your blogs as well. You might be interested in a book I just read about writing called, "Zen in the Art of Writing" by Ray Bradbury. I found it extremely helpful in learning to do the work everyday and to trust my own original voice. I don't want to make this too long but is Yellowseed your Mayan date that you were born on? I believe mine is Yellow Cosmic Human. Once again, thanks for being my first comment. I was wondering did you click on read more above the video and go to my blogspot where the rest of the blog could be viewed?

thank you

It's a pleasure to welcome you to the community. Great coincidence!

I did check out the full blog, and I appreciate your soothing and sober perspective. I also enjoyed that zuvuya sequence.

Thanks a lot for the book recommendation. I don't think of myself as a writer, but I guess I should start doing so in order to improve my writing. Let me know of any feedback you might have.

And yes, I am a yellow overtone seed. There's been lots of seeds in my life, and I've sort of always felt like one. Good to meet you, cosmic human :)

Namaste

Let's do some Conscious Sci-ence!

This was wonderful

Thank you so much. I'm going to watch more. We can't stop the great expansion of consciousness or the evolution of our planet, even though some may want to keep everything the same.

I am not afraid of tomorrow for I have seen yesterday and I love today.
