This is a mandala I painted with my *blood. I made it in honor of my body my temple and as a part of the path towards total acceptence of the I.
Like I expected people are somewhat shocked by this bloody mandala. And if not at least some jokes are made maybe to cover the kinda fear or resistence people feel when confronted with blood.
There is in me this question why..?

Why are people so scared of blood? Of course a lost of huge amounts of blood will lead to ones death. Seeing someone with a lot of blood running out of his or her body looks alarming and can be life threatning.

But it is also the magical substance that plays one of the biggist roles in the living of the human body and there for it could also be considered a holy sacred substance is my idea.
And it is! I stood in awe when I saw that my blood was litarely shining like gold when I overlooked the fresh finished mandala. It was a moment of deep stillness and incredible beauty.

This brings me to the gold of the Kogi a tribe in Columbia. OnThePath did a blog and in there he gave a link to a very interesting documentairy on the Kogi.

The Kogi say the gold is the blood of the Earth. By this one asumes that gold much be a substance of great live value if the Kogi make this comparison. The younger brother, as the Kogi call the white humans, robbed the Earth of gold and so robbed her of her blood.

What effect does this displacing of the Earths' gold have on her and our health?
There on earth where gold is found there is hardly any left. There were gold is hardly found there are lots of it.
In for example Switzerland there are tons of gold deposited. Gold that no doubtingly was mined somewhere else in the world.
What would this concentration of gold/blood do to the Earth energetically ..?

Is this maybe an illness we're not aware of because it doesn't fit in our logic?
Too much blood in one part an too little in the other part of the Earths' body could this dispossitioning of gold on the Earth be compared with heart and blood vessel diseases that so many of western humanity suffers from? Maybe we reflect this heart and blood vessel of the Earth.

Namaste

*Blood that was collected in a periode-cup (http://www.divacup.com/).
