On 6/6/9 I lost an old friend. His name was Fabian Guerra and he was Forty Piece Choir’s manager (my old band) and the owner of Quest management. He was killed in a head on collision with a semi truck while swerving to avoid a deer. While attending his wake all of the members of FPC came together and decided we needed to have a benefit show to honor his life and raise money for his wife and 2 children he left behind. (FPC broke up 2 years ago after a 10 year stint playing psychedelic Americana music in the Midwest). http://fortypiecechoir.com/

As you can imagine I’ve been relearning all sorts of old material for the past couple of weeks preparing for this event. It’s amazing how a song can bring you back to the moments when it was written and the flashes/ memories of the era when it was being performed. The event is receiving a huge amount of press and will hopefully make Fabien’s families healing time a bit easier. We will have a raffle including a USM donated instrument and plan on providing the family with an autographed guitar from all the acts and a commemorative DVD of the event.

I’m also preparing for the Jammin’ on the Wolf which is this weekend in White Lake Wi. (I talked about this in my last blog). So as you can imagine music is ruling my life and I need to thank my wife and son for their patience. As you can imagine I haven’t been home much lately.

Both weekends my Eden rig will serve as the back line for all bassists. So at least we know the low end will be thumping.

We have a new Eden artist as well his name Wes Bollingmo from the MN. Based band Strange Daze (http://www.strangedaze.com/). He is currently using a D410T, a D410xlt and he just purchased the WTX1000N. Check him out!!

It’s also Summer NAMM this week as well. If you’re in Nashville TN. check it out and visit our booth. We’ll be debuting the ENX110, EN410XST, EN115XST, and you’ll be able to check out the WTX1000N (I love this new amp!!), WTB1000, and the ENX260.

That’s it for now, enjoy the week and I’ll be back reporting after my wild weekend of music and white water rafting!!

We will our reality
