I am interested in how Evolvers and Thrive Movement and Occupiers and Transition Town Movement are all utilizing the info that has been outlined in this film.

I am facilitating the discussion with the audience at Rio Theater on Sunday after this film in screened in East Vancouver BC.

thrive impact

I definitely am called to focus the conversation at Occopy LA to monetary reform as the number one priority after watching Thrive.

this film:

If the Occupy movement embraces this film it will be a step back. In fact, much of the New Age is going to have a negative impact on the Occupy Movement. Sadly, the greater the number of people in the movement who embrace hokum, the less chance the movement will succeed... and there's a whole lot of hokum out there trying to attach itself to the Occupy movement. Oh well, I guess we'll have to wait for another generation. Maybe when the dice are rolled again the Occupy movement will finally succeed.

See this video of Terence McKenna:

Also see David Deutsch's ``irrational memes'', which is discussed in this book review of his book The Beginning of Infinity :
