Project Mendus

Here is a word from it's founder, Shaman Sun (who also can be found by the same alias on this community)

"So, uhm, I started this place as an experiment, and as an outlet for creativity and interests. What we can do here is basically come from any background, any path, and contribute something that only deepens/broadens the horizon. If everything is interconnected, this will be done very nicely. You don't have to be a scholar, but I don't want them to shy away either! So philosophers, thinkers, scientists are welcome! So too are the feelers, the intuitive, the spiritual. Both are intimately co-dependent on each other, though often they may not realize this. It is my belief that a greater cosmology is slowly being unveiled, one that is both inherently spiritual and scientific, and evolution is the unfolding of a cosmic consciousness giving birth to itself, waking up.

As for me--I'm a sociology student finishing up my bachelors at Fordham. These sort of topics are exactly what I'll be writing my thesis on, and getting my PhD for. To me, if you are going to work, let it be for your passion, or let there be ample time for your passion to manifest. I'm from NY--Grew up and raised here. In a few years I hope to hop out of the nest and see some parts of the world, but until then, we can all connect via the internet."
